1. Find out from local government if you have permission to proceed.
2. Apply to Miami Customer Service via letter & application.
3. Set up your area: desk and supplies.4. Select your agents.

Routine Service – at this time, expect significant delays for passport books and/or passport cards.
Expedited Service – is suspended. Only life and death emergencies will be processed within 72 hours in person at a Passport Agency.

Passport FeesPassport Book:Adult: $110.00 / Minor $80.00
Passport Card:Adult: $30.00 / Minor $15.00
Passport Processing fee: $35.00 per application.

International Travel
Requirements
All U.S. citizens traveling internationally by air must present a valid U.S. passport book.
U.S. citizens age 16 or older entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry must present a valid U.S. passport book, U.S. passport card, or other travel document approved by the U.S. Government. For more information, see the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s website: GetYouHome.gov.
U.S. citizens under age 16 arriving by land or by sea may present an original or photocopy of their U.S. birth certificate, Consular Report of Birth Abroad, or Naturalization Certificate. For more information on travel requirements for special audiences including groups of children, private boat owners, cruisers, etc. please visit GetYouHome.gov.
Travel Documents for American Citizens
U.S. Passport Book
This familiar document will provide you with the identification and proof of citizenship to travel anywhere in the world, by any conveyance --- in other words, it can be used for all international air, land, and sea travel.
U.S. Passport Card
This travel document can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings and sea ports-of-entry. The U.S. Passport Card cannot be used for international air travel. The wallet-size passport card is convenient and less expensive than the passport book.
What’s Needed to Apply?
1. Form DS-11 if you are applying for the first time or under age 16.
2. Form DS-82 if you can submit a previous U.S. passport issued to you in the last 15 years, when you were age 16 or older.
3. U.S. Citizenship Evidence Valid Photo I.D.
4. Photocopy of Valid Photo I.D. Submit a clear photocopy of the front and back of the valid photo I.D. that is being presented at the time of passport application.
5. One Color Passport Photo Size 2” X 2”6. Appropriate Passport Fees
