Kid’s Ministry takes place in the gymnasium down the
hall off the foyer. All children are welcome! There
will be bible stories, crafts, activities, songs, and
games all geared for the little ones!
Nursery is available—parental supervision required

Looking Ahead… August
Each week we highlight one of the many Missions we support. This week: Laura Benson About her ministry: Laura is in Uganda as a response to the call of God on her life to work with the young mothers of Uganda, to serve under PAG – The Pentecostal Assemblies of God Uganda. She works in partnership with the local church to respond to the need of young mothers in the community. The focus of her ministry is to equip and empower these young mothers and girls in pregnancy crisis with the tools to succeed and ultimately keep mothers and babies together. Laura is back in Canada for a short period over the month of August. She will be speaking on her ministry here at Calvary on Wednesday, August 18th at 2:00PM. Laura’s missionary work is supported by our Missions Committee. Please mark this date and time in your calendar. We hope to see you there!
MISSIONS 10:30 am: Pastor Rob Slote Message: A Church For His Mission
Please feel free to worship, stand, kneel, and raise your hands; we do ask that there is no shouting. Please remain at your seat for the
duration of the service unless absolutely necessary. We ask that you wear a mask at all times, use hand sanitizer, and keep a distance of two meters from anyone outside of your household. The sanctuary may hold
up to 50% of our capacity for phase 3 of Ontario’s reopening plan.
SUMMER YOUTH EVENTS
All youth (Jr. High, Sr. High, and Young Adults) are welcome to come out on Friday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00PM throughout the summer for a time of fellowship as we watch and discuss The Chosen series. Invite some friends, grab some snacks, and come on out! Stay up–to-date with Pastor Mike for details on other activities.
ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING
SMALL GROUP
Connect Group — A time of prayer, discussion, and fellowship. Led by Rick Reilly, this group meets each Wednesday at 6:30 PM. There are a few spots left, contact the office or Rick for information.
PRAYER TEAM
Prayer Team meets Thursdays at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary. Come pray with us for Calvary, the community, missions, and the global
environment. If you are interested in taking part, please contact the church or Evelyn Wilson Sr. for more details.
Bonita is collecting several types of medicine,
pain relievers, and vitamins to provide to the
people in the country she is ministering.
She is accepting donations until next Sunday, August 15th.
Donations may be submitted to the check-in desk on Sunday, or to
the church office through the week.
SUMMER STAFF SCHEDULES
Sunny days and warm summer rainfalls are upon us! As such, our staff are cycling through some well deserved vacation time
throughout the month of August. We have scheduled our office hours around each other so there will always be at least one person
in the office. Thank you so much for your patience and support!
The Annual Business Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, August 29th
at 6:00 PM. Annual Reports will be made available at the Ministry
Desk and the Church Office. If you are a church member, please
save the time and date in your calendar.
DRIVE THRU PRAYER
Stop by to pray with the pastor from the comfort of your
vehicle! Available from 10-11AM and 3-4PM on
Tuesdays under the overhang by the main entrance.
