"Be watchful! Be alert! You do not

know when the time will come." Mark 13: 33-37

Jesus challenges us to pay attention, to

watch for the signs of God's presence in our midst, to be

awake to the most important and lasting things of life. We shut out of our consciousness what rattles us or challenges us or bores us by burying our faces in our screens or shutting out the noise with our headphones.

Our lives are an Advent in which we come to realize that

our time is precious and limited, that our lives constantly change and turn and are transformed - whether we are ready or not, whether we comprehend what is happening

or are overwhelmed by it. Advent calls us to "watch," to

pay attention to the signs of God's unmistakable presence in our lives, to live life expectantly and gratefully as a gift

SJ Bible Study Celebrating Mass (Rectory ) 10:15 am

Have you ever wondered what the meaning of life is? Ask one of our participants to share their story with you … we hope to see YOU next year!

What’s New For You At Formed? More than a union based on romantic love or mutual fulfill-

ment, marriage goes back to the very essence of what it is to

be human and reflects a design placed in our hearts by God

himself. Beautifully filmed and featuring acclaimed marriage

experts, Beloved speaks to the very heart of every husband

and wife, bringing sacramental truth and God-infused love

into the everyday challenges of married life.
