“The religion of Christ does not require us to lose our identity of character, but merely to adapt ourselves, in some measure, to the feelings and ways of others. Many people may be brought together in a unity of religious faith whose opinions, habits, and tastes in temporal matters are not in harmony: but if they have the love of Christ glow ing in their bosoms, and are looking forward to the same heaven as their eternal home, they may have the sweetest and most intelligent communion together, and a unity the most wonderful”. Testimonies V4, p65.

Stewardship Department

Dr.Sheila Holder

Stewardship Director

No matter what our position in life or how many demands are put on us, all of us have exactly the same number of hours available in each day. Making good use of that time requires keeping our priorities straight. Since our time is limited, each time we say ‘yes’ to one thing, we are forced to say ‘no’ to something else. We need to make sure our highest priorities get the ‘yes’. This is stewardship of our time.

“It is not earthly rank, nor birth, nor nationality, nor religious privilege, which proves that we are members of the family of God; it is love, a love that embraces all humanity. ” ― Ellen G. White “We are all woven together in the great web of humanity, and whatever we can do to benefit and uplift others will reflect in blessing upon ourselves.” ― Ellen G. White, Patriarchs And Prophets

“Only one lease of life is granted us; and the inquiry with every one should be, “How can I invest my powers so that they may yield the greatest profit? How can I do most for the glory of God and the benefit of my fellow men?” For life is valuable only as it is used for the attainment of these ends.” ― Ellen G. White
