pastoral counselor. Call 561-463-8900 for an appointment.
CARE MINISTRY
Get your flu shot at CVS and donate your $10 gift card to the Care Ministry.
The cards will go to the underprivileged in our community. You may leave
your cards in the church office or contact Harry Drier at 561-601-8211.
Gas card donations are needed to keep the Food Pantry Van moving. You may
send cards to Harry Drier, 5380 N. Ocean Dr. Apt. 6D, Singer Island, FL 33404.
Despite the fire at the Food Pantry, we have still been distributing food to an
average of 80 families each week. Items needed are peanut butter, jelly, pasta,
pasta sauce, cereals, and dry beans.
Items needed for the Homeless at St. Ann: shoes, belts, hats, cloth shopping
bags, men’s jeans/pants (sizes 28-38) and ladies pants. Small size toiletries,
band aids, sunscreen, bug spray and vitamins are needed. Please place in the
patio storage room.
We need laptops or iPads for families in transition from homelessness. If you
have one to donate, please contact Harry Drier at 561-601-8211.
There are many volunteer opportunities within the Care Ministry. If you have
time and a passion for giving back your time, please join the Care Ministry team
of volunteers by contacting Harry Drier at 561-601-8211 or [email protected].

Calling All Moms! Come make new friends and join
us for HOLY STROLLERS MOMS GROUP! We are a
group of Moms that study the bible and socialize with
our little ones. We enjoy coffee and treats, and
childcare is provided while we meet. We will meet

Erin Chaison at [email protected] for more info and to sign up.
God does have a plan for your life! Discover his plan in a
new Life Group that Pastor Frank will be offering. This
Life Group will help you recognize God’s voice, and use
His guidance to make wise decisions. We will also
discuss ways to use God’s guidance even after we have made poor decisions.
Using John Ortberg’s short book, What is God’s Will for My Life?, this Life
Group will meet for two Wednesdays, January 9 & 16, 10:00 – 11:30 AM.
The cost of the book is $4 and available from the church. To register, contact

We already know that many things steal our joy. Let the
world famous Christian author/teacher, William Barclay, help
us to use the writings of Saint Paul to lighten our load. We
will have daily readings to help us (or they can be read in one
or two sittings). Pastor Sid will facilitate this Life Group. The
book cost $20. The five Monday sessions will begin on January 14 from 1:00
PM to 2:15 PM. Please contact the church office at 561-624-9663 or

It's a beautiful day to celebrate! Today our HIS KIDS will be
reviewing the Nativity Story as Christmas always seems to go by in
a whirl and we really need to learn the true meaning of
CHRISTmas. We also will be celebrating Epiphany weekend. We
will be learning about the three kings and the importance of them visiting baby
Jesus. Then, of course, we need to have a FUN Celebration! We will be having
a bubble celebration outside to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus! All children
ages infants through 5th grade are always welcome!
Each of us has been impacted by evil and
suffering. Have you wondered why is there evil in the
world and what is the reason we have to suffer pain and
distress? HSLC will be providing a three session class
in February on the first three Tuesday evenings from
6:30 - 8:00 PM in the church sanctuary that will examine these issues:
Questions About Evil and Suffering: Philosophical, Theological, and
Psychological Perspectives. The class schedule is:
Tuesday February 5 - The Origins and Essence of Evil
Tuesday February 12 - The Theological and Biblical Conceptions of Evil
Tuesday February 19 - Meaning in Suffering: Psychological Insights and
Personal Experiences
The community is welcome. For additional information, please contact Doug
Wessel at 605-641-6110 or [email protected].
