Did you know that….. Our council put on at least two blood drives every year at our parish. Last year we collected 91 pints of blood (over 10 gallons) for the American Red Cross. For the past several years this event has been chaired by Kevin Roach a long time
valued member of the Knights. There is a lot of prep that goes on including setting up and taking down the furniture. If you can help Kevin on the next drive in the PLC on May 25
th, please contact him at 248-766-4635.
Friends of the Knights Newsletter
"Brother Knights in our effort to continue to bring our council and the parish closer together our membership team has developed the Friends of the Knight newsletter. The newsletter has articles of special interest about the council’s events, an article from Father Mathias or Father Joe, and a fun article for a laugh or two. We already have quite a few folks on our mailing list and we are hoping you will provide us with more. You can add someone to receive this special newsletter if you ask them and feel they may have a future desire to become a Knight. Although primarily designed to keep future Knights aware of our involvement, we have many men and women on our list who are able to put in a good word about us and are interested in our mission. This is a monthly issue sent out in the middle of the month. If you want to add someone to the Friends of the Knights Newsletter just email their name, email and phone number to either Ben DeRocher or SK Ralph LeRoy The newsletter will also appear in the Sunday bulletin from time to time.

Dear Brother Knight,
I am trying to raise money for the Parkinson’s
Foundation. I am also interested in helping others
who have Parkinson’s Disease. Elizabeth A.
Kahanovsky is my Life Partner and she was
diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease six years ago.
During that time, I have taken care of her and have
learned a lot about the disease. I have also taken
Anatomy courses and courses in Manual Integrated
Therapy so I could more effectively help her.

Delta Drive On June 1st and 2nd Council 7304 will be having a
"Delta Drive" to recruit new members. The "Delta
Drive builds on updated methods of hosting a church
drive to make the process easier to conduct and to
increase the positive results. The purpose of the
Delta Drive is to have technology work for your
council in a new approach to attract younger
members. The process rely's on an effective pulpit
speech, brochure and information hand outs with the
addition of a web page and e-mail contact.
After getting the prospects name and e-mail
information during the Delta Drive, the prospect will
receive emailed information from Supreme about the
Knights of Columbus story. Our council has also
launched a "Friends of the Knights" e-mailed
newsletter with news about our activities at St.
Patrick Church.
What we need the weekend of June 1st:
Knights to greet and handout information at the
entryway and exits at every Mass.
Knights wear your KofC shirts and jackets to Mass
Knights to man one information table at each mass.
Further details and volunteer sign up will be
discussed at our May 1st business meeting. Contact
Ben DeRocher 248-675-9772 to volunteer.
