Carl Soderstrom (Bassoon) has played the bassoon since soph-omore year. He has participated in PMEA District 11 Orchestra as the principal second bassoonist and is the section leader of the Philadelphia Sinfonia Bassoon section. This is his first year in pit orchestra. Grace Stevens (Violin) is beyond excited to be a part of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. However, she wishes this wasn’t her last year with Patriot Players. In her sophomore year, Grace played violin in the pit orchestra for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. While she will continue working with music, she hopes to attend college to study Public Health. She has dedicated much of her time here at CB East to the music programs and would like to thank everyone who helped along the way. Jillian Troth (Violin) has played for the Patriot Players pit or-chestra in all three of her years at CB East. Having attended Patriot Players productions since she was four years old, Jillian is honored to now be a part of the spring musicals. She intends to continue her studies of the violin for as long as possible and hopefully play for more pit orchestras in the future. After CB East, Jillian hopes to attend university to study biology and es-tablish a career in scientific research. She thanks everyone in the production for making pit orchestra such an enjoyable and valuable experience!

DIRECTOR BIOS

SASHA EISENBERG (Director) Mrs. Eisenberg has been involved in the theatre arts since childhood. She received her BA in English Education from the University of Delaware and Masters in Educational Leadership from Delaware Valley Univer-sity. In 1995, she began teaching English and theatre at CB East and joined the Pa-triot Players! 25 years later, Mrs. Eisenberg has directed over 40 shows and has as-sisted with numerous additional staff and student directed productions and special events. In 2001, she started East’s children’s theatre tradition with the production of Babes in Toyland, collecting toys for Tabor Children’s home. Since that time, nu-merous productions have continued the tradition of giving back by raising thousands of dollars for many organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Bucks County Playhouse has honored Mrs. Eisenberg for Outstanding Direction for multiple productions. In 2017, Mrs. Eisenberg directed the PA Thespian, award win-ning one-act, “I Never Saw Another Butterfly,” and was honored to join the compa-ny at the International Thespian Festival in Nebraska. Mrs. Eisenberg is thrilled to be able to share her passion for theatre with the fantastic students of East and would like to congratulate the company of HUNCHBACK on their excellent work! She would like to thank her talented team members for their dedication, friendship, and good-humor through these many years of collaboration! “Teamwork makes the dream work!” (Disney) Mrs. Eisenberg also extends her gratitude to Patriot Player parents, East administration, East faculty and the CB community for their consistent support of the arts! While Mrs. Eisenberg has truly found a second family with Pa-triot Players, she must also thank her own family for their unconditional love, sup-port and enduring patience!

Nine years ago, when her son joined Patriot Players, Mrs. Poirier decided to volunteer her talents and worked alongside Mrs. Jones for 12 productions. After Mrs. Jones retired, Mrs. Poirier took over as Costume Mistress. Hunchback will be her 8th production in this role. Previously, Mrs. Poirier volunteered at Town and Country Players, Holicong Middle School, and Cold Spring Elementary School. Mrs. Poirier would like to thank her wonderful costume crew for all of their hard work this year. Thanks as well to Virginia Howarth, seamstress extraordinaire, without whom this would not be possible. To my fellow directors: thank you so much for your support and faith in me. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this wonderful team, and look forward to many more productions at East. Finally, thanks to my supportive family, particularly my husband, who has so graciously accepted a house full of fabrics, buttons, and thread! Break a leg!

She plays in several ensembles in and outside of school, and hopes to continue playing in college. Maggie is extremely proud to be part of such an amazing cast, crew, and orchestra!

Olivia Marcino (Keyboard) began playing piano at the age of 5 and has been in love with music her whole life. She also has been playing cello in the East orchestra since sophomore year.
