Faculty Extension Lecture
On 30th July 2019 Mr. Vijay Kumar (Asst. Prof. in Education RRCE, BHOTA) delivered a
lecture on the topic “Badalta Bharat”. In his talk he explained various schemes which are
initiated by Our Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi such as Jan Dhan Yoajana, Aayushmaan
Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Insurance policies and GST etc. in detail. Principal Dr.Raj Kumar
Dhiman and all faculty members were presented in the lecture.
Result of B.Ed. 3rd Semester
Himachal Pradesh University Shimla declared the result of B.Ed. 3rd semester on 28th
August 2019. Total 99 students of RRCE Bhota attended the examination and the result of the
college was 100%. Shikha Rani got the 1st position in the college by scoring 88.85% marks, Renu
Devi got the 2nd position as she scored 88% marks and Neelam Kumari got 3rd position by
scoring 86.85% marks. Chairman of the college Sh. Manjit Singh, Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman
and all staff members congratulated all the students of B.Ed. 3rd semester for their performance
in the examination.

Result of D.El.Ed. 2nd Year
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala declared the result of D.El.Ed.
2nd Year on 1st September 2019. The result of the college was 100%. Mamta got the 1st position
in the college by scoring 80.30% marks, Tanu Kumari got the 2nd position as she scored 79.20%
marks and Matul Kumar got 3rd position by scoring 78.80% marks. Chairman of the college Sh.
Manjit Singh, Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and all staff members congratulated all the
students of D.El.Ed. 2nd Year for getting good scores in the examination.
Inauguration of B.Ed. Session 2019-2021 and Celebration of Van Mahotsva
RRCE Bhota organised a programme for new B.Ed. teacher trainees for the session 2019-
2021 on 4th September 2019. By this programme two years B.Ed. Course was inaugurated.
Mahant Sri Sri 1008 Ghanshyam Puri Ji Maharaj, Bumbloo presided over the function as Chief
Guest. Various co-curricular activities were organised during the function. During this
programme all new students along with the Chief Guest and Chairman of the College also
celebrated Van Mahotsva by planting trees in the college campus. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar
Dhiman congratulated the new B.Ed. Trainees and wishes them good luck. Retd. Principal Sh.
Kartar Singh Dhillon, parents of the students and all faculty members were presented on this
occasion.

Teacher’s Day Celebration
On dated 5th September 2019 RRCE Bhota celebrated the birth anniversary of Former
President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (2nd President of India) as teacher day. On this occasion
Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman (Principal, RRCE Bhota) presided as Chief Guest. In this event the teacher
trainees entertained the audience by presenting various programmes such as solo songs, solo
dance, group songs, group dance and musical chairs etc. Chief Guest of the day Dr. Raj Kumar
Dhiman advised the students to follow the footprints of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and said
that teacher is a true guide of the students and a nation builder.
Jal Shakti Abhiyan or Water Resource Management (Swachhta Pakhwara)
RRCE Bhota organised a one day workshop on hygiene and water conservation. In this
workshop college student along with the college staff members cleans the college campus and
the nearby areas of the college. They also worked on the ways used to conserve rainwater. This
programme was organised in accordance with the Ministry of Human Resource Development
Govt. of India as “Swachhta Pakhwara” from 1st September to 15th September 2019. During this
Swachhta Pakhwara College students along with college staff members on 8th September 2019
cleans the water and surrounding area of the Babrdi in village Manjhli (Mansui) Ward No. II and
after that white-washed the Babrdi. Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and all the faculty members were
presented on this occasion.

Organisation of Block Level Declamation Contest by NYK
In RRCE Bhota a block level declamation contest on the topics Nation Building, Patriotism
and Sabka sath Sabka Vikas was organised by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports with the help
of Nehru Yuva Kendra Block Bijhari on dated 10th September 2019. In this contest total 10
students participated. Sonam got the 1st position, Pooja Kumari got 2nd position and Abhilasha
and Manisha got the 3rd position. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman presided as Chief Guest on this
day. This Contest was organised by social workers Suman Lata, Krishna and President of NYK
Rajan Kumar.
Celebration of Hindi Diwas
RREC Bhota observed 14th September 2019 as Hindi Diwas. On this day declamation
contest was organised in which B.Ed. Teacher Trainees delivered their views on the importance
of Hindi Bhasha. They also urged that we must communicate in that language in which we can
express our views and ideas effectively. In this declamation contest Bharti got first position,
Deeksha Kumari got second position, Sunita Sharma and Om Parkash got third position
respectively. All the staff members were presented on this occasion.

Health Check-up Camp
A health check-up camp was oganised by Mobile Health Service Barsar at RRCE Bhota on
1st October 2019. Dr. Manju and her colleagues diagnose the health (Blood Sugar, Hb level, and
blood group) of 124 persons which includes the students of B.Ed., D. El. Ed. and staff members of
RRCE Bhota. At the end of this camp RRCE Bhota presented token of remembrance to Dr. Manju
and her colleagues. All staff members were presented on this occasion.
Faculty Extension Lecture
On 30th October 2019 Miss. Savita Kumari (Asst. Prof. in Education RRCE, BHOTA) delivered a
lecture on the topic “First Aid”. During her talk she explained in detail the various techniques
which we can use during any accident before taking the patient to the hospital. Principal Dr. Raj
Kumar Dhiman and all faculty members were presented in the lecture.

Mehndi Competition
On dated 16th October 2019 RRCE Bhota organised a House-Wise Mehndi Competition
on the occasion of Karwa-Chouth. In this competition Kanchan and Indu of Chenab House got
first position, Bandna and Sunita of Ravi House got second position and Ritika and Manisha of
Ganga House got the third position. On this occasion Coordinator Mrs. Sunita Gautam
congratulated all the participants and said that these types of events are the symbol of our
cultural heritage.
Celebration of Rangoli Competition
On the occasion of “Festival of Lights” RRCE Bhota organised a House-wise Rangoli
Competition on dated 24th October 2019. All the students of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. courses
participated in this competition. Many wonderful rangoli designs were made by the students. In
this competition Satluj House, Bias House and Chenab House got the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position
respectively. Chairman of the college Sh. Manjit Singh congratulated all the participants. Dr. Raj
Kumar Dhiman and all the faculty members were presented on this occasion.

Celebration of Talent search Programme Cum Fresher’s Party
RRCE Bhota celebrated Talent Search Function cum Fresher Party on dated 25th October
2019. Chairman of Raj Rajeshwari Educational Society Sh. Manjit Singh presided as Chief Guest
on this day. The programme commenced by Lamp Lightening ceremony. Various cultural
performances were performed by the students of B.Ed. 1st year in which they showed their
talent. Group song “mare desha ra dil Shimla”, Solo dance by Kanchan, Pallavi and Neha and
Pahari naati by D.El.Ed. 2nd Year students were the highlights of the day. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar
Dhiman thanked all the guests and students for their presence on this occasion. President of
RRES Mrs. Arvinder Kaur Rani, PTA President Sh. Devraj Sharma and all faculty members were
presented on this occasion. Mr. Vishal Jaswal elected as Mr. Fresher and Miss. Kanchan elected
as Miss. Fresher.
Result of B.Ed. 4th Semester
Himachal Pradesh University Shimla declared the result of B.Ed. 3rd semester on 22nd
November 2019. Total 99 students of RRCE Bhota attended the examination and the result of
the college was 100%. Renu Devi got the 1st position in the college by scoring 81.42% marks,
Anjna Kumari got the 2nd position as she scored 79.43% marks and Deeksha Verma got 3rd
position by scoring 78.58% marks. Chairman of the college Sh. Manjit Singh, Principal Dr. Raj
Kumar Dhiman and all staff members congratulated all the students of B.Ed. 3rd semester for
their performance in the examination.

De-addiction Rally
Under the aegis of Primary Health Centre Bhota, on dated 25th November 2019, Raj
Rajeshwari College organised an awareness rally on De-addiction from Mansui Village to Bhota
Market. The faculty members and teacher trainees (B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. courses) tell the people
about the bad effects of drugs. On this occasion Dr. Indu Pathania took the oath of de-addiction
along with faculty members, students and local people. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and all
faculty members were presented on this occasion.
World Aids Week
On 3rd December 2019, Red Ribbon Club of RRCE Bhota organised an awareness rally on
“World Aids Week”. Teacher trainees of RRCE Bhota performed a skit on “Causes and
prevention from Aids” at Bhota bus stand. On this occasion Dr. Supriya of PHC Bhota, health
worker Vijay, Asha worker Anuradha and all faculty members of RRCE Bhota were presented.
Chairman of the college Sh. Manjit Singh said that these types of rallies are very important
because it the duty of the teachers to spread awareness among people.

Awareness on Hygiene and Cleanliness
In the campus of RRCE Bhota, Social Worker Sunita Sharma from RETCE Non Govt.
Organization (NGO) on dated 10th December 2019, aware all the teacher trainees about self
cleanliness and hygiene. All faculty members were presented on this occasion.
One Day Religious Trip
RRCE Bhota organised one day religious trip on 17th December 2019. All the teacher
trainees of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Courses participated in the trip. During the tour students along
with teachers got the blessings of Chamunda Mata, Sidh Peeth Jawala Ji and Mata Berjeshwari
Devi. Principal of the college Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman addressed the students that such types of
trips inculcate values and ethics among us. This tour was organised free of cost by the Chairman
of the Raj Rajeshwari Educational Society Sh. Manjit Singh. All faculty members were presented
on this occasion.
