TYPE OF NUMBER PATTERN
From this chart , we can see by the multiplication of 9 and 11,the straight line
each other be form. Even it is not vertically or horizontlly straight nor from bottom to top
or from one end to another end but it is still produce a pattern that is straight line. This
pattern is called a diagonal.

From this chart, we can conclude that the pattern of diamond is form by the sum
of number for each opposite corner then divided by 2 will form the same number of
answer.For example in this chart :
(26 + 86) = 112 = (53 + 59) Then ,when 112 divided by 2, it will be get the same
anwers and the anwer is 56.

When the all multiple of 5 and 10 are form together either in increasing or
decreasing order, the parallel line of number pattern can be formed.As example :
Number 5 until 95 in order of multiple of 5 and the number 10 until 100 in order of

the sums of entries in opposite corners form the same number of answer.As example :
(42 + 70) = 112 = (49 + 63)
Futhermore ,the parallelogram pattern can be formed by multiplication of 7 at the
number of corner.As example : 6 X 7 = 42 , 7 X 7 = 49 , 9 X 7 = 53 and 10 X 7 = 70.

number is multiples of 3. For example 24×3=72, 16×3=48, 4×3=12 so if we join all the
answer we can get a triangle shape.

number at the horizontal’s line is added together,then the sum of it is divided by the
number that has been added before will form the number at the middle of the horizontal
line.As example :
( 20 + 30 + 40 + 50 + 60 + 70 + 80 ) = 350 ÷ 7 = 50

There are seven parallelograms which can be seen from the number chart with a
highlith of pattern of the multiplication of 6. However the pattern does not go along with
the increasing order for the multiplication of 6.Actually that pattern can also be
interpreted as two large parallelograms overlapping each other diagonally on the right
side. Interestingly,some assume that the pattern above resembles “ketupat” shape.

pattern.The pattern is becoming apparent especially if we highlight the pattern with the
lines which will resemble a zig-zag pattern.

REFLECTION
During complete this task, we found lot of new experiences that we have not
experienced until today.Its began when our basic mathematics lecturer, Mr Tan Cho
Chiew submit assignments to our classes Bahasa Melayu1 (SJKC).We feel panic and
fear of course .However, we take a positive attitude to accept this task and determined
to do our best.
Because my friends and I were not clear about the demands of this task, we
ultimately seek clarification and help from sister Elisha Paul PPISMP PJ Semester 3.
After long discussions, we asked to borrow the basic mathematical books in the
Resource Centre for IPG Kent used as reference material.We ask the opinion of Mr Tan
Choo Chiew on drafts of our work that have done.
Then, we were asked to add some more information to complete the course our
work.In addition, we provide a number of collaboration with Mr Tan Cho Chiew on draft
assignments that we have complete it.After everything goes smoothly, finally we were
able to do successfully completed the assistance and thank for the support from
various parties involved.
