If you are a student, appren ce or a young professional aged between 18-26 years, this is your chance to compete for various cash prizes in Na onal and Interna onal events, which includes the fantas c prize of £1,000 at the London Interna onal Final! To par cipate all you have to do is give a 10-minute presenta on on an engineering or technology related subject and be prepared to answer a further 5 minutes of ques ons. To make it easier, it is perfectly acceptable to use your final year project presenta on, a presenta on from your graduate scheme or any other presenta on which you already have...Yes, it really is that simple! The winner and runner-up* of the (Mauri us) Local Network compe on shall receive a year’s free membership and cash prizes of £150 and £100 respec vely. The winner of the (Mauri us) Local Network compe on will also receive an automa c place in the regional final for the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region to be held in Abu Dhabi this year. The winners of the five regional finals will then receive automa c entry to the global final and the opportunity to win £1,000. Every interested par cipant is requested to register his/her inten on to par cipate by sending an email to the IET Mauri us Network on theiet@intnet.mu by 29th May 2015 with a synopsis of his/her presenta on. The best presenta on will be determined on 05th June 2015 by a Jury composed of professionals from the Engineering & Technology Industry. Venue will be communicated to the par cipants.
