Having been working within the marine environment for Twenty Five years, I see myself as an accomplished yachtsman with approx 25,000 seagoing miles (tidal) worldwide, I have excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team. I am a patient individual willing to pass on my knowledge and experiences and have a keen interest to learn from others. I have extensive experience in both European and SE Asian waters and have become accustomed to the many cultures and familiar with the marine organizations, marinas and navigable waters within the regions . My interests are big game fishing, motorsports and aviation, I also enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

Lucia, Caribbean then a delivery of a new Jeanneau 42’ from Greece to the Canary Islands.

Seasonal delivery skipper for Searay, Ferretti, and various high performance power boats between Spain and Northern Africa, ensuring that the client’s yacht arrives at their chosen marina on time, cleaned and fuelled. Other duties involved dock side assistance and preparation.

April 1986 to June 1992.Mount Bridge Shipping Ltd, Boston, UK. m/v “City”AB -EDH training cadet. 1500 GT bulk carrier operating throughout Europe. Main duties were preparing the vessel for the loading and discharging of cargo, pilot boarding duties, watch keeping, general seamanship and maintenance.

October 1983 to April 1986.Stanton Control and Electrical Engineering. UK.Apprentice electrical and control engineer working within the family business. Refitting electrical installations and control panels on commercial vessels and private yachts, working from wiring schematics and drawings.
