PAVERS & WALL STONENatural materials are used in the manufacturing of these products and color variations and shadings can be expected. Blended and in some cases solid color may fluctuate in color range from production run to production run. In the case of blended colors, there may be instances of pavers showing more of one blended color and then showing fairly even amounts of blended colors. Color variations and shadings can be expected; therefore CST cannot guarantee color and will not be responsible for any color variations. Please note: when installing multiple pallets, it is imperative to mix the pavers from the different pallets. Doing this will disperse the various color gradations within the installation.

CST’s Antiqued™ Texture Finish undergoes a process that is intended to give the pavers the appearance of old world cobble. Within the pallet there will be pavers which may have more tumbled characteristics than others. This may include random surface scratch marks and chipping, along with other distress features. These characteristics are intended and shall not be grounds for material rejection.

CST cannot guarantee the color match of any paver manufactured at a later date from the original order. Therefore, it is recommended that approximately 1% of each paver project built be retained for replacement in case of future damage. Paver heights may vary by ± 2mm. All published sizes of CST’s pavers and wall products are nominal and approximate.

EFFLORESCENCEEfflorescence is a common and natural occurrence. It is a deposit, usually white in color, that may appear on the surface of concrete. It is caused by moisture within the material dissolving natural salts that eventually reach the surface, leaving the salt or a white discoloration on the surface upon evaporation. It is not a manufacturing defect. Although it may present an aesthetic concern, efflorescence does not affect the structural performance of the paver or wall stone and will usually weather away with time. CST does not guarantee against efflorescence and accepts no responsibility or liability for this condition.

POLYMERIC SANDPolymeric sand is a high-tech mix of graded sand and binder formulated for filling joints between pavers. When using Polymeric sand, it is imperative to follow the manufacturer’s directions explicitly. Incorrect application of the Polymeric sand may cause polymeric hazing on the paver surface. CST assumes no liability on the use of Polymeric sand or the resulting discoloration Polymeric sand may cause to the surface of our pavers due to improper application of the material.

SEALING PAVERSSealers help resist stain and may enhance the color. As a rule of thumb you should generally wait at least six months to allow any efflorescence to appear. Prior to the application of any sealers, the pavers must be cleaned with an appropriate product to remove dirt and efflorescence. CST assumes no liability on the use of sealers or the resulting discoloration that may result from improper application of the material.

5 SERIES & 7 SERIES GRID FROM SRW - Each series meets or exceeds the standards for Geogrids as set by the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA). High-tenacity multifilament polyester yarns, which meet the requirements for molecular weight & CEG’s as established by the U.S Department of Transportation. Made of 100% virgin resin with NO regrind material with a minimum molecular weight of 25,000 g/mol and a CEG of less than 30. Both series have a high molecular weight.

KEYSTONE KEYLIFTER – Designed for lifting and placing Keystone Compac and Keystone Standard units, the Keystone KeyLifter allows two people to easily carry and set a unit by sharing its weight between them. The unique, upward handle design permits the unit to be placed into the wall without injury to hands or fingers. Once the unit is set in place, the KeyLifters can be easily removed from the pin holes for use on the next unit.

KEYSTONE SIMPLESET – The Keystone SimpleSET allows for three Keystone Compac or Keystone Standard units to be placed simultaneously; offering a time efficient, cost effective, reliable, and simple to use solution. The SimpleSET unit is extremely valuable for everyday installation accommodating front and back of wall access, as well as tight space conditions. With the SimpleSET you can lift multiple Keystone units with ease and precision.

VERSA-LOK - STANDARD UNIT LIFTER – The VERSA-Lifter makes it easier to lift and place wall units, especially on the base course. The two prongs on the lifter are placed into the holes in the VERSA-LOK Standard unit. The action of lifting the handle secures the lifter to the unit and makes for easy, balanced lifting and placement. VERSA-Lifters are available from your local supplier.

VERSA-LOK - SQUARE FOOT UNIT LIFTER – Installing VERSA-LOK Square Foot retaining walls just got easier with the new Square Foot VERSA-Lifter. Now, your crews can lay a lot more block in a lot less time with less strain using a simple tool that has proven itself with VERSA-LOK’s Standard SRW system. The design of the Square Foot VERSA-Lifter works on the same principle as the original model. Prongs on either end of the lifter are placed in the retaining wall unit’s end holes and as the hinged bar is lifted, the prongs grip the holes and the weight of the block secures its hold. The two-handed carrying handle has a comfortable rubber sleeve and is positioned to balance the unit evenly for maximum ease in carrying. Eighty-seven pounds will never feel lighter! And with a durable, bright red, powder-coated finish, you’ll never misplace it on the job site.The Square Foot VERSA-Lifter is available wherever VERSA-LOK retaining wall systems are sold.
