Pavimentazione struttura book-shop Basilica di San Marco
La vetroresina è un materiale che si presta ad essere impiegato in ambienti umidi.
Dai test effettuati, dopo esposizione ai cicli caldo, freddo e umidità secondo la norma EN ISO 9142/04 il prodotto non presenta difetti residui. La M.M. ha fornito il prodotto in colore grigio RAL 7004 che si integra perfettamente nell'ambiente circostante. Per un migliore risultato estetico sono state inoltre realizzate delle fresature che riproducono l'effetto "doga".
La finitura superficiale Q-PAINT assicura caratteristiche antisdrucciolo secondo DIN 51097 (adatto a piede non calzato).
Il materiale fornito grazie alla leggerezza e l'alta lavorabilità è stato installato agilmente ed in tempi rapidi senza l'ausilio di strumenti particolari.
La stessa Procuratoria della Basilica di San Marco dopo aver visitato gli stabilimenti della M.M. e visionato il materiale ha dato indicazione di utilizzare i nostri prodotti in vetroresina per la realizzazione della pavimentazione della struttura del book shop posta in un'area della Basilica caratterizzata da umidità e frequenti allagamenti.
Tenuto conto dell'importanza artistico/architettonica della pavimentazione, il materiale da utilizzare doveva essere leggero in modo tale da non pesare eccessivamente sui mosaici ed avere una buona resa estetica.
La struttura, destinata ad ospitare il passaggio di numerosi visitatori, doveva presentare inoltre caratteristiche antisdrucciolo.

After that the Procuratoria of S. Marco’s Basilica itself visited M.M.’s works and examined the material, they instructed to use FRP products for the floor of the bookshop’s structure.
That particular area of the Basilica is characterized by a high humidity level and frequent floods. In consideration of the artistic/architectural relevance of the floor, the material needed to be light so not to weigh excessively on the mosaics and also be easthetically appropriate.
Due to the numerous visitors’ passages, the floor absolutely had to be antiskid.
The FRP is a material that is normally used in humid environments. The test carried out with the exposure to heat, cold and humidity cycles according to the EN ISO 9142/04 norm, determined that there is no evidence of defects.
The product supplied by M.M. was grey and perfectly integrated in the surrounding environment. It went through a particular cutting finishing that imitates the “boards” effect for an improved aesthetical result.
The Q-PAINT surface finishing guarantees antiskid characteristics as per the DIN 51097 norm (suitable for bare feet).
The installation was rapid and effortlessly because of the lightness of the product and its easy workability. No special installation equipment was required.
