Knights of Columbus— (FREE) Free Throw Contest for

all boys and girls between the ages 9 and 14 on Jan.

19th, 2020 at St. Mary’s gym from 12 pm to 3 pm. If you

are interested in getting an enrollment form you can

pick those up in the office or contact Caleb Abrell 812-

592-9841 to register.

Rescheduled—Counselor’s Corner— ASSIST rescheduled… According to legis-

lation from Indiana Dept. of Ed, each public school shall provide age appropri-

ate instruction on child abuse and sexual abuse to students in K-12th grade.

This instruction rescheduled for the month of January 15th and Feb. 5th at

NVE. The following resource will be the basis for instruction in our elemen-

Circle Pick-up at Dismissal— Parents please stay in your

vehicle when picking up your students. NVE assistant’s

will help your student in the vehicle for everyone’s

safety. Thank you for your cooperation.

Panther Cub PreK Days— If you have a preschooler that will be attending

kindergarten this fall, you are welcome to join us! We have 4 special morn-

ings set aside with lots of exciting activities planned. You and your child can

get to know us and how we do things at N.V.E.! Panther Cubs and their grown

ups will get to go on a school tour, meet some teachers, visit the playground

and sit on a school bus. Parents will also be learning important information

about attendance procedures, expectations, elearning days, technology for

kindergarteners and how to "grow a reader". Flyers and registration forms

were sent home Jan. 8th. If you have questions, please contact Shannon

Student Council— We are collecting items for Military

Care Packages thru Feb. 28th. (see back for details)

Park Theatre— Movie showing is Jumanji: The Next

Level. Jan. 10th at 7pm, Jan. 11th at 2 and 7pm and

Jan. 12th at 2pm.
