School-Wide Goal
Each classroom will earn 10 Golden Paw
Prides in 2 weeks in the category of respect
Celebration
If we can do this, we will have…
A mini field-day with our buddy
classroom
Let’s Set a Goal!
Let’s fill out the sheet together to make an action plan so we can
achieve our goal and have a mini
field-day!
What does it mean to be respectful?
Disrespectful behavior is…
• Not following expectations• Being defiant (choosing not to do
something you should be doing)• Not speaking with good purpose (both in
our words, tone of our voice, and body language)
• Hurting someone’s feelings• Not finishing work (in-class and
homework)
Disrespectful BehaviorsMAJOR• Physical aggression• Inappropriate
language• Not speaking with
good purpose (to staff and students)
• Preventing your classmates from doing their best learning
• Property misuse/damage
MINOR• Not completing
classwork• Shouting out• Not following voice
level expectations
Can you think of any other
majors/minors?
What happens if I’m disrespectful?
1. If it’s minor, a teacher will remind you of the expectations
2. If it’s major, or you have already had a reminder, you will stay in for lunch detention
Lunch Detention1. You will call your parents to let them know
why you are staying in2. You will complete missing work3. You will keep a Level 04. Failure to do so will result in a 2nd lunch
detention until the work is completed or the behavior is corrected
5. If the incident happens after lunch, you will serve your detention the next school day
