This applies to PC computers: Turn on copier (if needed)—wait for the machine to completely boot up.

1. Press the “User Tools/Counter” button. 2. Touch the “System Settings” button on the screen. 3. Press the “Interface Settings” tab. 4. Press the “Machine IPv4 Address” button. 5. Write down the IP address, you’ll need it later.

Downloading the Ricoh print driver:

1. Identify your Copier/Printer Model. 2. In any web browser Go to http://servicecenter.dpsk12.org/ 3. Click on the "Strategic Solutions" option. 4. Click on the "Printer Drivers (Download)” option. 5. Under the header “Printer Drivers (PC 32-bit)”, choose the option that matches your printer 6. Download and run the file. When it asks you to “Extract to folder”, hit the “Browse” button, use the scroll

bar to go to the very top and choose “Desktop”. The folder will be named something like “MP5002_PC” Installing the Ricoh printer on the end users work station:

1. Go to the start menu and choose "Printers and Faxes" or "Devices and Printers" (only one will appear) 2. Click on "Add a Printer" (top towards the left) 3. A window will appear--pick the "Local Printer" option. 4. Click on "Create a new port" and choose the "Standard TCP/IP" option 5. Enter the IP address of your printer in the middle box (“Host name or IP Address”). 6. If there's a check box that says "Query the printer for which driver to use", make sure it's unchecked.

Then press "next." 7. Regardless of any choices the computer wants to suggest, click on the "Have Disk" button. 8. Navigate to the flash drive that has the files I downloaded. Find the folder called “MP5002_PC”. Double

click it. There’ll be another folder inside. Keep clicking on the folders until you get a program that's called "OEMSETUP". Double-Click it.

9. On the left hand side of the screen, you'll get a list of manufacturers. Choose "Ricoh". 10. Once you do, you'll get copiers which use this driver. Pick the appropriate one. 11. Continue. Note: If you are asked for a username/password, you’ll need administrative rights to proceed. 12. It'll install the driver and ask you if you want to share the printer. Choose "No". Note: If you have copy

codes enabled on your printers, go to Copy Code section below and do not do the next step! 13. When it asks you if you want to print a test page. Say "Yes". If it prints, you’re done!

Do this step only if you have copy codes enabled on your copiers:

1. Go to the start menu and choose "Printers and Faxes" or "Devices and Printers" (only one will appear) 2. Find the printer you just added and right-click on it. 3. Choose “Printing Preferences” (about 5 from the top) and left-click on it 4. Click on the “Detailed Settings” tab at the top 5. Click on the “Job Setup” button at the top. 6. Scroll down and enter the person’s user code in the “User Code” box. 7. Hit “Apply” and then hit “OK” 8. Close the window 9. Test the printer (print any document/e-mail/etc.) and if it prints, you’re done!
