* The University has expanded beyond its Kelburn campus in recent years and this process continues. The Faculty of Law and Faculty of Commerce and Administration are on the Pipitea campus close to Parliament, while the Faculty of Architecture and Design is located on the Te Aro campus in the city’s southern business area. Under the recent merger of the Wellington College of Education and the University, the College’s Karori campus became part of the University from 1 January 2005. Individual disciplines within some schools are located in different parts of the University.
