Our Aims
To create social awareness about disability
Ensure that the disabled in our society have equal rights
Create a skilled work force within the disabled community
Promote active citizenship, community service and volunteerism to create young leaders

Summary of PDF.Characteristics of the target audience•Stared by Mizanur Rahman Kiron in 2008 , later joined by Valerie Taylor of CRP-Bangladesh
•Now organized into 8 branches throughout the country including leading universities. The PDF network also includes Bangla and English Medium schools.•Total 2,600+ volunteers•A well-known community service organization in Bangladesh

Level 1: Conception and Planning (1 day)
Level 2: Registration (5 days)
Each team makes a plan of their new project or can choose from previous project plans.

Level 3: Fuel Gathering(15 days) Level 4:Implementation (24 days)
• Teams construct detailed plans and budgets to meet their objectives goals.
• Fundraising from friends, families and institutions.
• Modify detailed project plan in accordance with budget.
• Submit plan to PDF• Carry out plan and enlist others
to help

PDF SUMMER CHALLENGE ‘s GOALS FOR 2014
•Expand scale of activities regarding disability awareness •Involve more young people in community service•Start a scholarship for bright students who are physically-challenged•Encourage initiatives that will help build jobs for disabled people in the country• Ultimately we will bring out some innovative ideas for the farther action of disability in Bangladesh
