Today, our presence in residential and commercial construction, cement, power, transportation, education and consultancy has a cumulative turnover of about Rs. 4,000 crore.

For nearly 20 years, My Home Industries has been manufacturing and marketing the Maha Cements range of products with an annual production capacity of more than 10 million tonnes of cement and clinker. ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001-2015 and OHSAS 18001-2007 certification – as well as being awarded Golden Peacock Award for Sustainability 2017 – lend us the credibility and stability our cement is reputed for.

Today, we are the fourth-largest cement manufacturer in South India, powered by four state-of-the-art facilities across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. Our marketing footprint extends us further across South and East India. From socio-economic development to environmental stewardship, we are making a sustainable difference to the long-term vibrancy and vitality of the people and companies we work with.

2000Abja Power enters the market by acquiring anaptha-based combined cycle power plant

Through our Power and Consultancy business, we bring light to homes, businesses and schools across India’s diverse landscape.

The My Home Group entered the power vertical at the beginning of the millennium with the acquisition of a naptha-based combined cycle power plant. In time it was converted into a biomass-based conventional power plant. A proof of its efficiency was that it achieved 100% carbon credit with the approval of UNFCCC and bagged the “Best Non-Conventional Energy Company” award. Now christened Abja Power Pvt. Ltd., it entered the solar power energy in a big way while stabilising and strengthening its presence in power and coal trading.

As a logical step forward, My Home Power Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. was set up in 2005. The company has built a formidable reputation for its insightful consulting services with an enviable list of clients including Voith Turbo, Hindustan Lever, NTPC, etc. The company has signed agreements with an internationally reputed company for providing engineering services. Presently two overseas projects, one in Nepal and the other in Abu Dhabi, are being executed.

My Home Educational Society was incorporated to make this vision a working reality. Coupled with the company founder Dr. J. Rameswar Rao’s commitment to delivering value at every step, the company has achieved a string of milestones we are all proud of.

The year 1991 saw the birth of Little Scholar School in Hyderabad and its branch at Meallcheruvu, Nalgonda district. The school is an articulation of the Group’s business purpose of “Make Living Better”. It offers the ideal balance of quality education at an affordable cost, bringing education within reach of many.

Meru International School is the latest venture from My Home Group. Built on a legacy of quality, integrity, and trust with every project undertaken, Meru International School is founded in the belief that every child is ‘Built to Succeed’.

The dream did not stop here. In fact, the school has been an inspiration for us to envisage a chain of international institutes which are in the pipeline, bringing home the intent of creating an ideal environment for India’s next generation who will shine as global citizens.
