Who Should Attend?

•Everyone?

▸Those are believers

▸Non-believers should only invited

When to Have Worship

•First thing in the morning

•Pray or have worship with children before going to bed.

Worship Mechinics

•Short and sweet

•No longer than 10-15 minutes. Six to eight minutes is excellent.

•Include the children

Program

•Sing one song (or two)

•Read a short Bible passage

•Read the chosen devotion

•One family member prays for everyone

•Hug and kiss after prayer

Where to Have Worship?

•A chosen spot/room

Who Can Lead in Worship?

•Make a schedule

•Everyone can have a chance to lead

What are the roadblocks to prayer?

•Too much television viewing

•Too busy

•Satanic music

•Friends/neighbors/relatives

•Work

•Selfishness

Eats

Eating together is one of the most intimate activities families and couples can do together.

Meal Time Guidelines

•Eat in the same area (together).

•Eat at least two meals a week together. Ideally, it should be at least once a day.

•Meal times is a time for intense sharing. Always include the children.

Playing Together Means:

•Taking the time to laugh together

•Taking the time to have fun together

•Chilling out together

•Going places together

Sleeping Together

•It means everyone sleeping in the same house. Not in grandma’s house.

•It means husband and wife sleeping in the same bed.

•It means parents not going to sleep while their children watch TV.

•It means having a healthy time to go to bed.

The family that intends together matures, understands, heals, grows, and stays together.

Intends

There must be a deliberate, intentional effort to keep Christ at the center of the home.

1.Happy/stable couples realize a good relationship/family is not a gift but it is an achievement. Every relationship, left up to natural instincts will self-destruct. Because a relationship is a living organism it can’t self-regulate and self-maintain.
