I have compiled this book of 30 empowering
networking tips for isolated female professionals
over 30 years old who would like to streamline
how they do business because they are:-
time-challenged professionals and looking to
learn from like-minded women
experiencing burnout and want to learn how
to maximise their networking and simplify the
process of running their own business
in transition, leaving their secure job to start
a business
in business whilst altering the framework and
business model to support their business
ideas
in search of new friends and business

wanting to start up a Mastermind Group
We have a series of dates for our Networking Mixers for
isolated female business owners to meet | connect | eat |
drink | empower one another to take their business to the
next level. These are informal and flexible gatherings
where can female professionals can join in and leave
whenever they want.
These events are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month.

After making contact with someone, ask them what is the best form of contact that they use. Ensure that you also have a follow-up strategy in place.

Make sure to have your Business Cards & promotional literature with you every time you leave the house, as you never know who you will meet.

Save yourself time and energy, by finding out in advance, which events attract the people you want to meet.

Attend business networking events to practice and refine your elevator speech on your target audience.

Get from behind your laptop! Get out of your house, basement, attic, office to socialize, recharge your batteries & preserve your sanity.

Attend Networking events to get clear about what challenges your ideal clients face and the solutions you could offer them.

Attend Networking events to increased visibility for yourself and your brand and position yourself as “The Expert” in your given field.

Clearly define the tastes, habits and frustrations of your ideal clients, then write all of your promotional literature highlighting how you can help them.

Find out how to effectively use social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram to promote your business.

Make sure that your profiles are completed
and your information is consistent across all social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram.

Compile a list of journalists from newspapers and magazines; consider what stories are newsworthy, make contact and send your information. Begin to form a relationship with them.

Stand out from the crowd: make sure your “soul signature”, the thing, you are renowned for doing far better than anyone else, speak volumes, even in your absence.

Create a press pack with photos of you, press releases, press coverage clippings, your products, services and biography and send it out to journalists.

Bring some Giveaways samples,
eg. Brochures, books, postcards, CD, DVD, pamphlets or event invitation and hand them out.

Create newsworthy blogs that are content driven with lots of useful information and resources. Spend a day planning the writing and scheduling of future blogs throughout the year.

Write a book to help raise your profile and use these as advertising tools. Hot leads can be given a book and business cards to warm leads.

Decide what you are going to do daily in blocks eg. mornings to make phone calls, afternoons to catch up on admin, plan and attend networking events.

Find out what fellow attendees are reading, listening to, watching and doing to progress in business.

At networking events, seek out those who are getting great results, and ask them about their daily habits and listen to how they talk, walk and carry themselves: pay attention to their mind-set.

Consult a stylist or learn how best to dress your body type and the colours that complement you and your brand.

At the end of each day, assess your progress and decide what worked and what didn’t and note down where your
focus will be for the next day.

Decide the strategies you will use to create a client attraction system and review in the morning and again at night before you go to bed.

Attend networking events to find key
people for your Mastermind Group where you meet regularly where member offer support and advice to other members within the group.

Visit a few networking groups before committing. Try not to spread yourself too thin. Pinpoint early, which groups are a good fit with you, your personal and business needs.

Have a system to collate business cards and contact relevant people after the event and decide strategies for how you will keep in touch post event and what software you will use to capture the contact details.
