Einleitung Vielen Dank, dass Sie als Gemeinschaft die Zeit der Schöpfung feiern wollen! Die weltweite Familie von Christinnen und Christen kommt jedes Jahr vom 1. September bis zum 4. Oktober zu dieser Zeit des Betens für den Schutz und Erhalt unserer aller Heimat und des gemeinsamen Handelns dafür zusammen.

Als Nachfolgerinnen und Nachfolger Christi in aller Welt ist es unsere gemeinsame Aufgabe, Sorge zu tragen für die Schöpfung Gottes. Wir wissen, dass unser eigenes Wohlergehen eng verflochten ist mit dem Wohlergehen der Schöpfung insgesamt. Wir freuen uns daher über die Gelegenheit, Sorge zu tragen für unser aller Zuhause und die Schwestern und Brüder, mit denen wir dieses teilen.

Das Thema für die Zeit der Schöpfung in diesem Jahr lautet: „Jubeljahr für die Erde“. Wir laden Sie ein, darüber nachzudenken, welch enge Verbindung besteht zwischen Ruhe und Erholung für den Planeten Erde und unseren ökologischen, wirtschaftlichen, sozialen und politischen Lebensgewohnheiten. Gerade in diesem Jahr haben uns die weitreichenden Auswirkungen der weltweiten COVID-19-Pandemie deutlich vor Augen geführt, wie dringend notwendig gerechte und nachhaltige Systeme sind. Wir sehnen uns nach den moralischen Prinzipien und Vorstellungen, die mit einem Jubeljahr einhergehen.

Secondo questa saggezza, la Legge di Mosè dava disposizioni per il Sabbath. Il settimo giorno di ogni settimana, il popolo di Dio era libero dalla necessità di produrre o consumare. Il riposo fu esteso agli animali e alla terra stessa, per onorare il Creatore e permettere al creato di riposare. Dopo sette volte sette anni, il 49esimo anno, il popolo di Dio doveva dedicare un anno a questa giustizia riparativa sul campo ecologico, sociale ed economico. Un Giubileo per la Terra.
