ADMINISTRATION

FDA stands for food and drug administration.

FDA is an agency of united states deptt. Of health and human service. One of the

united states federal executives departments, responsible for productive

and promoting’ public health through the regulations and supervision of food

safety. The FDA also enforces other laws, notably section of the public health

service and associated regulations, many of which are not directly related to food

and drugs.

INTRODUCTION OF FDA

There are different regulatory programs in FDA

Food and dietary supplement.DrugsVaccines,blood and tissue product and bio-

technologyMedical and radiation emitting devicesCosmeticsVeterinary products.

DIFFERENT REGULATORY PROGRAMES:-

The Kessler apply bureaucracy theory which means follows only rules and regulations. They also apply classical theory which means traditional way follows. The process was lengthy. In this no proper feedback,limited approach ,budget was not proper in congress, people hesitate and red tape aims in the FDA.The methods was scattered to improve .Kessler apply scientific management also. Under the FDA there is centralization in organization.

They need to use modern theory and operational theory ,under operational theory “does not apply single theory of management, its depend upon situation take best one theory from all theories.

SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM:-

The FDA’s misuse or abuse of regulatory authority has been a constant complaint of drug and device companies and its critics for 30 years.

David Kessler more skilfully and aggressively exploited the FDA's control over product approval and market access in order to leverage its power.

In doing so he created a new FDA in his own image, at the expense of individual choice, the public’s health and the public’s well-being
