Use Enstrom milk chocolate Toffee Crumbs. In the top of a double boiler, melt together Toffee Crumbs (excluding the ½ cup), Mini-Turtles, almond butter, and half and half, stirring until all is melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Fold in whipped topping, and remaining ½ cup of Toffee Crumbs.
Pour into crust, and freeze for 4 to 6 hours before serving. When ready to serve, top with additional whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and toffee crumbs.

Dear Toffee Lover:
The holidays always remind me of the family traditions that make the season so special.
Looking back, my fondest memories of the holidays center around family and our “little Candy Kitchen.” I remember “Granddad” Chet’s sister, Aunt Kato, lovingly gift wrapping the boxes of candy for our family and friends around the world who shared our toffee with their families and friends.
Reading my mother Mary’s heartfelt letters from past holiday newsletters is especially touching. She never failed to extend a warm welcome to anyone passing through Grand Junction; inviting them to stop by and meet the family and our wonderful confectioners and even sample a bite or two of the fresh almond toffee kept on the counters for just that reason.
As our sons, Doug Jr. and Jim, become the fourth generation at Enstrom Candies, I feel blessed that they were able to share in our family traditions. From spending summers in the Candy Kitchen learning to make toffee to helping with the fun and frantic bustle of the holiday season, the boys not only learned the business, they learned the importance of family. I’m glad they will carry those memories throughout their careers and can pass them on to the fifth generation and beyond.
Our family’s traditions still influence every aspect of our company philosophy. Our focus remains on providing only the very best almond toffee and confections following the recipes that Granddad Chet perfected more than 80 years ago.
