Perfecting Plant Peel is clinically proven to perform like a 30% glycolic peel, without the associated redness and irritation. The result is smooth, refined and even-toned skin -- skin that looks perfected by nature.

Perfecting Plant Peel is a two-step system that re-texturizes skin by exfoliating dulling skin cells, smoothing lines & wrinkles, evening skin tone and refining pores to restore youthful radiance. The System includes:

Activating Spray: Liquid spray-on toner that works to 1) prepare skin for Thermal Masque and 2) soothe skin immediately following treatment.

Thermal Masque: Rich masque containing a blend of plant actives; generates heat when massaged into skin to deliver superior exfoliation without irritation.

What’s the Aveda difference?Both products in the system contain our proprietary blend of natural and organic ingredients. Active ingredients in the Thermal Masque include:

Glucosamine HCL, is bio-fermented and allows for a healthier desquamation of dead skin cells versus the harsher and often irritating glycolic acid peels which exfoliate via stripping of the skin. Helps to stimulate skin’s own production of Hyaluronic Acid.

Salicylic Acid, naturally derived from wintergreen oil, also aids in the peels exfoliation actions. Magnesium Sulfate, acts as a heating agent and helps to open the pores and soften the skin. Organic Coconut Oil and Shea Butter nourish and condition the skin. Other waxes and butters that help to condition the skin and give the masque a soft texture for an easy and

pleasant application.

Active ingredients in the Activating Spray include: Argan Leaf Extract (same sourcing story as Argan in Green Science) acts as an anti-irritant. Yeast extract is bio-fermented and soothes skin and helps to even skin tone. Also has anti-irritant and skin

brightening properties. Chestnut seed extract also enhances healthy desquamation and moisturizes. Organic aloe vera conditions and soothes irritated skin.

The products do not have an added aroma.

STEP BY STEP: (may be added to Elemental Nature, Green Science, Enbrightenment and Outer Peace. Replaces the refinement step)

Refine (10-15 minutes)Step 1- cover the eyes and mist the activating spray generously over the face and neck

Step 2- apply the thermal masque with your fingers to face, neck and décolleté.

Step 3- allow the PPP to sit on the skin for approximately 10 minutes. During processing, perform a scalp, hand or foot massage. Remain connected to guest.

Step 4- after 10 minutes of processing, spray the activating spray over the masque and massage for one minute, which will stimulate warmth.

Step 5- remove the PPP with a warm towel

Step 6- spray activating mist one more time to soothe the skin.

Step 7- re-hydrate the skin with Skin Firming Toning Agent
