Family company located in Vitoria (northern Spain), with 60 years

experience in the steel processing market as manufacturer of welded

steel tubes and profiles

In 2004, it purchased the tube factories of Aceralia/Arcelor in Europe and

became a major group with more than 2000 workers and a turnover of

more than 1000 million Euros

12 production plants in 6 countries: Spain, Germany, France, Italy and

Belgium. Total surface area 2,600,000 m2, more than 700,000 m2 of

buildings

Commercial presence throughout Europe.

European market share > 20%, more than 35% in Spain

Our product range covers cold and hot welded carbon steel and stainless

steel tube. Precision, structural, gas and general use tube, structural

hollow section, cold drawn tube and special open and welded profiles.

PERFIL EN FRIO – Main Data

Perfil en Frío produces cold roll formed steel profiles, both open and

welded, which can include punching and/or other operations integrated

in a single process, aside from a diversity of post-processing options.

The core business are the tailor-made special profiles, open sections

and, particularly, welded profiles, with little competition in Europe, and

a huge potential for growth.

The growth of Perfil en Frio is based in diversification, geographically,

and according to target activity sectors.

Currently there are sales to 15 countries, with a mixed sales force of

eight people, both staff salesmen and commercial agents.

Production capacity for special and high-range profiles is 30.000 Tpy,

amount that can be increased with 20.000 Tpy. of commercial products.

SPECIAL SECTIONS AND HIGH RANGE PROFILES

• The target activity sectors include construction, fences, cabins for machinery,

heavy vehicles, greenhouses, furniture, escalators, renewable energies, etc.

• Thickness from 0,5 to 6 mm. Length up to 21 mt.

• Material: carbon steel (black, pickled, cold rolled, Sendzimir galvanised), HSS

(up to MHT1200 for welded sections), stainless steel

• Production under EN 10162

Three options for cutting: die-cut, cold saw cut and Trennjäger

Second process operations A high degree of part finishing can be offered through outsourcing:
