Performing Arts2020 PROGRAMME
03
WelcomeThe Shore Performing Arts Programme for 2020 is a rich and diverse showcase of the considerable talents of our Music and Drama students. We are thrilled to start the year by welcoming the internationally-renowned violinist and composer, Mr Richard Tognetti AO as guest speaker for the Performing Arts Dinner. This year we have a record number of musical and theatrical events, starting with the 2020 Musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in March and culminating in Arts Week in late November. There is definitely something for everyone! We look forward to seeing you throughout the year.
MR PAUL EASTWAY HEAD OF CREATIVE PERFORMANCE
MRS KIM BARBER HEAD OF MUSIC
Active engagement in the Performing Arts provides students with the opportunity to reflect meaningfully on the world around them as well as allowing them to express themselves in creative and imaginative ways. A fundamental aspect of any artistic endeavour is the relationship between artist and audience and I therefore invite you to join us throughout the year to celebrate the God-given talents of our Shore senior boys. The Performing Arts Programme for 2020 promises to be an outstanding year of musical and dramatic endeavour.
