The system :Agresta has become a reference for over 30 years in the development and the production of wood agregates.Since, 1977, Agresta has developed a patented industrial process for the mineralization of wood fibers. These wood fibers are used for various applications such as lightweight concrete, noise bar-rier, landscape design ... After receiving numerous requests, Agresta developed a product responding to the need of a economical, stable and porous surface that does not collect litter.

PERMEO 10 was especially developed for surfacing large areas. It is 100% porous, and therefore a solution for water drainage. Adapted for bikes, strawlers and wheel chairs, PERMEO 10 prevents the surface from puddling by facilitating the pene-tration of water in the soil. Water drains naturally, reducing the risk of flooding. PERMEO 10 will give you a practical, hardwearing surface with endless design possibilities.

This decorative surfacing provides an open textu-red, highly porous surface suitable for applica-tion up to the tree base, whilst still allowing water to naturally filter through the tree pit to the roots. It can be colored in order to match the surroun-ding pavements. This system allows easy path maintenance, as they can be treated using normal street cleansing methods.

BEFORE

Permeo is an alternative to resin-bound gravel or other permeable surfaces. It is mixed on site in a concrete mixer and hand laid onto a suitable surface. It provides an attractive, hard-wearing, low maintenance surface. Ciment-bonded wood fibers provide numerous advantages compared with other porous surfa-cing. In fact, it is more economical and easier to implement. It prevents soil erosion and provides excellent performance on slopes. It is also durable, resistant to frost and maintains a low temperature during hot weather.

Colours :15 Colors are available to match the surface with the surroundings. The colouring is directly mixed in the concrete mixer with wood and cement. The color will differ depending on the color of the cement (white or grey). Neutral colors such as brown or ochre will be more suitable for protecting street trees. Some colors like green or yellow are perfect to embellish schoolyards.

Concrete mixer : Prefer a slow rotational speed. Add 18 liters of water in the drum. Add 1 kg of coloring. Add 1 50 Liters bag of PERMEO. Slowly add 35 kg of cement. Adjust the drum angle to 30° Continue mixing until the mixture is smooth and uniform. Raise the drum and add the second bag PERMEO. Tilt the Drum angle to the most horizontal position. Adjust with water if necessary

Hand mixing : (in a bucket) Add two 50 liters bags of PERMEO. Add 35kg of cement. Add 1 kg of coloring (1 bag). Mix the material Add 18 liters of water Continue mixing until the mixture is shiny and homogeneous. Adjust with water if necessary

The aggregate :Coming from a unique essence of wood - Spruce - Agresta’s wood chips are stabilized with a low tempe-rature treatment and a mineralizing treatment. Thanks to this transformation process, especially invented and improved by AGRESTA, the aggregate keeps strenght and flexion without any variations. This deve-lopment is the result of a permanent research in order to offer reliable products to our clients. In order to ensure a constant quality and a perfectly controled stabilty of our products, recycled waste are not used as a raw material.

TREE PIT SURFACING

PERMEO 20 was developped for the protection of tree surrounds. The permeability of this product will allow any rainwater to pervade the surface and flow directly down to the roots. It protects the tree from weed growth and other external threats. PERMEO 20 gives a clean and natural look to the surface around the tree.
