Introduction

What is BLUETOOTH technology?

BLUETOOTH wireless technology is a short-range wireless technology that enables wireless data communication between digital devices, such as a mobile (cellular) phone and a headset. BLUETOOTH wireless technology operates within a range of about 10 m (30 ft). Connecting two devices is common, but some devices can be connected to multiple devices at the same time.You do not need to use a cable for connection since BLUETOOTH technology is a wireless technology, neither is it necessary for the devices to face one another, such is the case with infrared technology. For example, you can use such a device in a bag or pocket.BLUETOOTH technology is an international standard supported by millions of companies all over the world, and employed by various companies worldwide.

Available BLUETOOTH functions

• Hands-free talking with your mobile phone in the car (supported incoming/outgoing call) – HFP

• Phone book transfer from your mobile phone – OPP

BLUETOOTH profilesProfiles are the standardization of the functions for each BLUETOOTH device specification.This unit supports the following profiles:

HFP (Hands-free Profile): Talking on the phone/Operating the phone by hands-free.

OPP (Object Push Profile): Transferring phone book data from a mobile phone to this unit.

3 steps to BLUETOOTH function

Pairing (page 7)First, register (“pair”) a BLUETOOTH device (mobile phone) and this unit with each other. Once pairing is established, there is no need for pairing again.

The BLUETOOTH settings can be configured from the Phone Settings menu.For details on menu operations and keyboard operations, see the supplied “Quick Start Guide.”

Actuating the BLUETOOTH function

Before connecting to a mobile phone, set “Bluetooth Signal” to “On” (page 15).

1 Touch “Phone” in the top menu.The BLUETOOTH function menu appears.

2 Select “Phone Settings.”

3 Set “Bluetooth Signal” to “On.”

4 Set “Discoverable” to “On.”

Pairing and connecting this unit with a mobile phone

When connecting with a mobile phone for the first time, mutual registration is required. This is called “pairing.” This registration (pairing) is required only for the first time, as this unit and the mobile phone will recognize each other automatically from the next time. Once a passkey is input, input of the passkey will not be required from the next time. (Depending on the model of your mobile phone, you may need to input a passkey for each connection.)

Connecting with a mobile phone from this unitCheck that the mobile phone is set to allow for searching (discoverable) beforehand.

1 Touch “Phone” in the top menu.

2 Select “Phone Settings” c “Connect Phone” c “New Registration.”

3 When “Search for Phone” appears, select “OK.”The process of searching for a connectable mobile phone begins, then the detected mobile phone name(s) appear in a list. If a mobile phone name cannot be received, “Unknown” will be displayed.Search time varies depending on the number of mobile phones.

4 Select the mobile phone to connect.Pairing starts.

5 Input a passkey*.Input the same passkey for this unit and the connecting mobile phone. The passkey can be either your own selected number or the number determined by the connecting mobile phone.For details, see the manual of the connecting mobile phone.

6 Touch “Done” to confirm.“Connected” appears and connection is complete.Depending on the model of your mobile phone, the connection may also require an operation on the mobile phone.

* Passkey may be called “passcode,” “PIN code,” “PIN number” or “Password,” etc., depending on the mobile phone.

Connecting with this unit from a mobile phoneCheck that “Discoverable” in the Phone Settings menu is set to “On” (page 15).

1 Set the connecting mobile phone to search.A list of BLUETOOTH devices appears in the mobile phone’s display.

2 Select the model name of the unit from the list.

3 Input the passkey on the mobile phone.“Passkey Input” appears in the unit’s display.

4 Select “OK.”

5 On this unit, input the same passkey that you input in step 3.Depending on the model of your mobile phone, the connection may also require an operation on the mobile phone.

Notes• While connecting to a mobile phone, this

unit cannot be detected from another mobile phone. To be detected, disconnect the current connection and search for this unit from another mobile phone.

• Depending on the model of your mobile phone, searching from this unit may not be possible. In this case, search for this unit from the connecting mobile phone.

• If you search for this unit and the connecting mobile phone mutually at the same time, this unit will not recognize the connecting mobile phone.

• It may take time to search or connect.• Depending on the model of your mobile

phone, the confirmation display of the connection appears before inputting the passkey.

• The time limit for inputting the passkey differs depending on the model of your mobile phone.

• Although this unit can be paired with up to 8 mobile phones without inputting a passkey, some mobile phones may require the input of passkey.

• This unit cannot be connected to a mobile phone that supports only HSP (Head Set Profile).

Connecting to registered mobile phonesMobile phones are registered once paired and connected with this unit.When the unit is turned on, the last connected mobile phone is automatically connected. To connect with another registered mobile phone, do the procedure below.


2 Select “Phone Settings” c “Connect phone” c “New registration.”

3 When “Search for Phone” appears, select “OK.”The list of registered mobile phones appears.

4 Select the mobile phone to connect.“Connected” appears and connection is complete.Depending on the model of your mobile phone, the connection may also require an operation on the mobile phone.

About the connection indicatorThe indicator appears in the display of this unit during BLUETOOTH connection.

Notes• For details on the settings of mobile

phones, see their respective manuals.• Up to 8 passkeys can be stored. Storage

of a passkey after the 8th will result in the automatic deletion of the oldest passkey.

TipYou can delete all passkeys on a connected mobile phone. From the top menu, select “Phone” c “Phone Settings” c “Connect Phone” c “Clear Connecting Info.”

Hands-free talkingCheck that this unit and the mobile phone are connected beforehand (page 7).

NoteThe microphone of this unit is located on the top left of the front panel. Do not mask the microphone with tape, etc.

TipYou can switch a call received on your mobile phone to the unit. Select “Use Hands-free” from the call menu. Similarly, you can switch a call received on the unit to your mobile phone. Select “Use Mobile Phone” in the display during the call.

Making a call in other ways

Recent CallsSelects from the recent call history. (Maximum storable name and phone numbers: 40)

Select the name or phone number to call.

Select “Options” c “Delete Recent Calls” to delete the name and phone number or “Delete All Recent Calls” to clear the history.

Phone Book*Selects from the phone book list. (Maximum storable name and phone numbers: 500)

Select the name and phone number to call.

For details on how to store in the phone book, see “Using the phone book” on page 14.

* If you set the security (page 13), “Security Locked” appears and operation is not possible.

Preset DialSelects the phone number stored in a number button.

Select a preset number (P1 – P3).

By storing a phone number to Preset Dial beforehand, you can easily make a call to that phone number. Up to 3 phone numbers can be stored.For details on how to store in the number buttons, see “Using the Preset Dial” on page 14.

(Home)Makes a call to your home.

Touch .

You can easily make a call to your home by registering your home phone number beforehand.You can store your home phone number using the Startup Configuration Wizard or the setting menu.

POI SearchSelects from the POI list.

Select “Call POI.”

Call DestinationWhen you set a destination using POI search and a phone number is registered for that POI, you can make a call to the destination.

Select “Call Destination.”

Receiving callsWhen receiving a call, the ring tone is output from the unit’s speaker.

When receiving a call, touch “Answer.”The phone call starts.The built-in microphone of this unit will pick up your voice.

To reject a callTouch “Reject.”

Other operations

Setting a password for the phone book

You can secure personal information in the phone book by setting a 4-digit password.If you set the security, “Security Locked” appears and operation is not possible.

1 Touch “Phone Settings” in the BLUETOOTH function menu.

2 Select “Phone Book Password.”

3 Set “Password Lock” to “On.”

4 Input the password number, then touch “i.”

5 Input the same password number, then touch “i.”

To unlock the securitySet to “Off” in step 3, then input the password number.

3 Select the preset number (P1 – P3) to store.

4 Select “New Input” from the menu.

5 Input a phone number, then touch “i.”

6 Input a name, then touch “i.”Tips• You can also store a phone number in the

phone book to the Preset Dial. Select “Copy from Phone Book” in step 4, then select the name and phone number to be copied.

• To replace a registered preset number, select “Edit” in step 4, then do steps 5 and 6.

3 Select the preset number (P1 – P3) to delete.

4 Select “Clear” from the menu.

Receiving phone book data from a mobile phoneCheck that this unit and the mobile phone are connected beforehand (page 7).


2 Select “Connect Phone” c “Receive Phone Book.”A confirmation display appears.

3 Select “OK.”“Receiving…” appears while receiving the phone book data.You cannot talk on the phone while the phone book data is being transferred.

Deleting from the phone book

1 Touch “Phone Book” in the BLUETOOTH function menu.

2 Select “Options” c “Delete Items.”

3 Select the item to be deleted from the list, then select “Delete.”

4 Select “OK.”

To clear all phone book dataFrom the BLUETOOTH function menu, select “Phone Book” c “Options” c “Delete Entire Phone Book.” After clearing, confirm that all phone book data has been cleared properly.

Bluetooth SignalTo switch the BLUETOOTH signal output of this unit to “On” or “Off.”– “On”: to output the BLUETOOTH

signal (RF 2.4 GHz).– “Off” (z): to not output the

DiscoverableTo allow mobile phones to search for this unit.– “On”: to allow the mobile phone to

search.– “Off” (z): to not allow the mobile

phone to search.Be sure to set to “On” when you search for/connect to this unit from the mobile phone.

PrecautionsOn BLUETOOTH communication• BLUETOOTH wireless technology

operates within a range of about 10 m (about 30 ft). Maximum communication range may vary depending on obstacles (person, metal, wall, etc.) or electromagnetic environment.

• When using the BLUETOOTH function, install the unit at a place within 60 cm (about 20 in) from the driver.

• The following conditions may affect the sensitivity of BLUETOOTH communication.– There is an obstacle such as a person,

metal, or wall between this unit and mobile phone.

– A device using 2.4 GHz frequency, such as a wireless LAN device, cordless telephone, or microwave oven, is in use near this unit.

Call / Ring VolumeTo preset the volume level of the ring tone.Touch b / B to adjust the volume level.

Ring ToneTo switch the ring tone.– “Mobile*”: to output the ring tone set

with the mobile phone.– “Internal” (z): to output this unit’s

ring tone.

Noise / Echo CancellationTo reduce echo and noise in phone call conversations.Set to “Mode 1” (z) normally. If the quality of the outgoing sound is unsatisfactory, set to “Mode 2” or “Off.”

• Because BLUETOOTH devices and wireless LAN (IEEE802.11b/g) use the same frequency, microwave interference may occur and resulting in communication speed deterioration, noise, or invalid connection if this unit is used near a wireless LAN device. In such as case, perform the following.– Use this unit at least 10 m (about 30 ft)

away from the wireless LAN device.– If this unit is used within 10 m of a

wireless LAN device, turn off the wireless LAN device.

– Install this unit and mobile phone as near to each other as possible.

• Microwaves emitting from a BLUETOOTH device may affect the operation of electronic medical devices. Turn off this unit and the mobile phone in the following locations, as it may cause an accident.– where inflammable gas is present, in a

hospital, train, airplane, or a petrol (gas) station

– near automatic doors or a fire alarm• This unit supports security capabilities

that comply with the BLUETOOTH standard to provide a secure connection when the BLUETOOTH wireless technology is used, but security may not be enough depending on the setting. Be careful when communicating using BLUETOOTH wireless technology.

• We do not take any responsibility for the leakage of information during BLUETOOTH communication.

• Connection with all mobile phones cannot be guaranteed.– A mobile phone featuring

BLUETOOTH function is required to conform to the BLUETOOTH standard specified by BLUETOOTH SIG, and be authenticated.

– Even if the connected mobile phone conforms to the above mentioned BLUETOOTH standard, some mobile phones may not be connected or work correctly, depending on the features or specifications of the mobile phone.

– While talking on the phone hands-free, noise may occur, depending on the model of your mobile phone or communication environment.

• Depending on the mobile phone to be connected, it may require some time to start communication.

Others• Using the BLUETOOTH device may not

function on mobile phones, depending on radio wave conditions and location where the equipment is being used.

• If you experience discomfort after using the BLUETOOTH device, stop using the BLUETOOTH device immediately. Should any problem persist, consult your nearest Sony dealer.

TroubleshootingThe following checklist will help you remedy problems you may encounter with your unit.Before going through the checklist below, check the connection and operating procedures.

The connecting mobile phone cannot detect this unit.• Set “Bluetooth Signal” to “On” (page 15).• Set “Discoverable” to “On” (page 15).• While connecting to the mobile phone, this

unit cannot be detected from another mobile phone. Disconnect the current connection and search for this unit from another mobile phone.

This unit cannot detect the connecting mobile phone.Check the BLUETOOTH setting of the connecting mobile phone.

Connection is not possible.• Depending on the model of your mobile

phone, searching from this unit may not be possible.t Search for this unit from the mobile

phone.• Depending on the status of the mobile

phone, searching from this unit may not be possible.t Search for this unit from the mobile

phone.• Check the pairing and connection

procedures in the manual of the mobile phone, etc., and perform the operation again.

• Go to the Sony website to verify that the mobile phone model is one that can be connected to this unit.

The name of the detected mobile phone does not appear.Depending on the status of the mobile phone, it may not be possible to obtain the name.

No ring tone.• Adjust the volume in “Call / Ring Volume”

(page 16).• Depending on the connecting mobile

phone, the ring tone may not be sent properly.t Set “Ring Tone” to “Internal”

(page 16).

The caller’s voice volume is low.Adjust the volume by touching +/– in the display (page 11).

Echo or noise occurs in phone call conversations.• Lower the volume.• “Noise / Echo Cancellation” is set to “Off.”

tSet “Noise / Echo Cancellation” to “Mode 1” or “Mode 2” (page 16).

• If the ambient noise other than the phone call sound is loud, try reducing this noise. E.g.: If a window is open and road noise, etc., is loud, shut the window. If the air conditioner is loud, lower the air conditioner.

The sound quality of the caller’s voice is poor.Phone sound quality depends on reception conditions of mobile phone. t Move your car to a place where you can

enhance the mobile phone's signal if the reception is poor.

Some functions do not work.Check that the connecting mobile phone supports the functions in question.

The name of the other party does not appear when a call is received.• The other party is not stored in the phone

book.tStore in the phone book (page 14).

• The calling phone is not set to send the phone number.

Pairing failed in Time Over.Depending on the connecting mobile phone, the time limit for pairing may be short. Try completing the pairing within the time.

No sound is output from the unit’s speaker during hands-free call.If the sound is output from the mobile phone, set the mobile phone to output the sound from the unit’s speaker.

Einführung

Was ist die BLUETOOTH-Technologie?

Die BLUETOOTH-Funktechnologie ermöglicht eine drahtlose Datenkommunikation über kurze Strecken zwischen digitalen Geräten, wie z. B. Mobiltelefonen und Headsets. Die Reichweite der BLUETOOTH-Funktechnologie beträgt ca. 10 m. In der Regel wird eine Verbindung zwischen zwei Geräten hergestellt, manche Geräte können aber auch gleichzeitig mit mehreren Geräten verbunden werden.Für die Verbindung ist kein Kabel erforderlich, da es sich bei BLUETOOTH um eine Funktechnologie handelt. Außerdem müssen die Geräte nicht aufeinander weisen, wie z. B. bei der Infrarottechnologie. Sie können ein solches Gerät beispielsweise auch in einer Tasche verwenden.Die BLUETOOTH-Technologie ist ein internationaler Standard, der von Millionen von Unternehmen auf der ganzen Welt unterstützt und von zahlreichen Unternehmen weltweit eingesetzt wird.

BLUETOOTH-ProfileEin Profil ist eine Standardisierung der einzelnen BLUETOOTH-Gerätespezifikationen für einen bestimmten Anwendungsbereich.Dieses Gerät unterstützt die folgenden Profile:

HFP (Hands-free Profile): Telefonieren/Freihändige Bedienung des Telefons.

OPP (Object Push Profile): Übertragen von Telefonbuchdaten von einem Mobiltelefon auf dieses Gerät.

3 Schritte zur BLUETOOTH-Funktion

Pairing (Seite 8)Zunächst müssen Sie ein BLUETOOTH-Gerät (Mobiltelefon) und dieses Gerät füreinander registrieren („Pairing“). Ist das Pairing einmal erfolgt, braucht es nicht erneut ausgeführt zu werden.

Aktivieren der BLUETOOTH-Funktion

Bevor Sie die Verbindung zu einem Mobiltelefon herstellen, setzen Sie „Bluetooth-Signal“ auf „Ein“ (Seite 19).

Pairing und Herstellen einer Verbindung mit einem Mobiltelefon

Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal eine Verbindung mit einem Mobiltelefon herstellen wollen, ist eine gegenseitige Registrierung erforderlich. Dies wird als „Pairing“ bezeichnet. Diese Registrierung (Pairing) ist nur beim ersten Mal erforderlich, da dieses Gerät und das Mobiltelefon sich ab dem nächsten Mal automatisch erkennen. Wenn Sie einmal ein Passwort eingegeben haben, brauchen Sie dieses danach nicht mehr einzugeben. (Bei einigen Mobiltelefonmodellen muss allerdings jedes Mal, wenn Sie eine Verbindung herstellen, das Passwort eingegeben werden.)

Herstellen einer Verbindung zu einem Mobiltelefon von diesem Gerät ausÜberprüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Mobiltelefon so eingestellt ist, dass es gesucht bzw. erkannt werden kann.

1 Berühren Sie „Telefon“ im Hauptmenü.

3 Wenn „Suche nach Telefon“ erscheint, wählen Sie „OK“.Das Suchen nach einem Mobiltelefon, zu dem eine Verbindung hergestellt werden kann, beginnt und der Name des bzw. der gefundenen Mobiltelefone erscheint in einer Liste. Wenn kein Mobiltelefonname empfangen wird, wird „Unbekannt“ angezeigt.Die Suchdauer hängt von der Anzahl der Mobiltelefone ab.

4 Wählen Sie das Mobiltelefon aus, zu dem Sie eine Verbindung herstellen wollen.Das Pairing beginnt.

5 Geben Sie ein Passwort* ein.Geben Sie für dieses Gerät und das zu verbindende Mobiltelefon dasselbe Passwort ein. Das Passwort kann eine von Ihnen ausgewählte oder vom zu verbindenden Mobiltelefon festgelegte Nummer sein.Einzelheiten dazu finden Sie in der Anleitung zu dem zu verbindenden Mobiltelefon.

6 Berühren Sie zur Bestätigung „Fertig“.„Verbunden“ erscheint und die Verbindung ist damit hergestellt.Je nach Mobiltelefonmodell muss zum Herstellen der Verbindung unter Umständen auch am Mobiltelefon eine Funktion ausgeführt werden.

* Das Passwort wird bei einigen Geräten auch „Kennwort“, „PIN-Code“, „PIN-Nummer“ oder „Passcode“ genannt.

Hinweise• Während eine Verbindung zu einem

Mobiltelefon hergestellt wird, kann dieses Gerät von keinem anderen Mobiltelefon erkannt werden. Damit dieses Gerät erkannt werden kann, trennen Sie die aktuelle Verbindung und lassen Sie dann vom anderen Mobiltelefon aus nach diesem Gerät suchen.

• Bei einigen Mobiltelefonmodellen ist eine Suche von diesem Gerät aus unter Umständen nicht möglich. Suchen Sie in diesem Fall vom zu verbindenden Mobiltelefon aus nach diesem Gerät.

• Wenn Sie dieses Gerät und das zu verbindende Mobiltelefon sich gleichzeitig gegenseitig suchen lassen, erkennt dieses Gerät das zu verbindende Mobiltelefon nicht.

• Die Suche bzw. das Herstellen der Verbindung kann etwas dauern.

• Bei einigen Mobiltelefonmodellen erscheint die Bestätigungsanzeige für die Verbindung vor dem Eingeben des Passworts.

• Je nach Mobiltelefonmodell gelten für die Eingabe des Passworts unterschiedliche Zeitlimits.

• Bei diesem Gerät ist ohne Passworteingabe ein Pairing mit bis zu 8 Mobiltelefonen möglich. Einige Mobiltelefonmodelle erfordern jedoch die Eingabe eines Passworts.

• Bei diesem Gerät kann keine Verbindung zu einem Mobiltelefon hergestellt werden, das ausschließlich HSP (Head Set Profile) unterstützt.

Herstellen einer Verbindung zu registrierten MobiltelefonenMobiltelefone sind registriert, sobald einmal ein Pairing und eine Verbindung mit diesem Gerät stattgefunden hat.Beim Einschalten des Geräts wird automatisch eine Verbindung zum zuletzt verbundenen Mobiltelefon hergestellt. Soll eine Verbindung zu einem anderen registrierten Mobiltelefon hergestellt werden, gehen Sie wie im Folgenden erläutert vor.


2 Wählen Sie „Telefoneinstellungen“ c „Verbinden zum Telefon“ c „Neue Registrierung“.

TippSie können Anrufe, die an Ihrem Mobiltelefon eingehen, auf dieses Gerät umschalten. Wählen Sie dazu „Frei sprechen“ im Anrufmenü. Ebenso können Sie Anrufe, die an diesem Gerät eingehen, auf Ihr Mobiltelefon umschalten. Wählen Sie dazu während des Anrufs „Mobiltelefon verwenden“ im Display.

Letzte AnrufeDient zum Auswählen aus der Liste der letzten Anrufe (Höchstzahl an speicherbaren Namen und Telefonnummern: 40).

Wählen Sie den Namen des gewünschten Teilnehmers oder seine Telefonnummer.

Wählen Sie „Optionen“ c „Letzte Anrufe löschen“, um den Namen und die Telefonnummer zu löschen, oder „Alle letzten Anrufe löschen“, um die Liste der letzten Anrufe zu löschen.

Funktechnologie beträgt ca. 10 m. Die maximale Kommunikationsreichweite kann je nach Hindernissen (Personen, Metall, Wände usw.) oder elektromagnetischer Umgebung variieren.

• Wenn Sie die BLUETOOTH-Funktion verwenden möchten, installieren Sie das Gerät in einem Abstand von höchstens 60 cm vom Fahrer.

• Die folgenden Bedingungen können die Empfindlichkeit der BLUETOOTH-Kommunikation beeinträchtigen.– Zwischen diesem Gerät und dem

Mobiltelefon befindet sich ein Hindernis, wie z. B. Personen, Metall oder eine Wand.

– Ein Gerät mit 2,4-GHz-Frequenz, wie z. B. ein WLAN-Gerät, ein schnurloses Telefon oder ein Mikrowellenherd, wird in der Nähe dieses Geräts verwendet.

Echo-/RauschunterdrückungZum Verringern von Echo bzw. Rauschen bei Telefongesprächen.Normalerweise sollte hier „Modus 1“ (z) eingestellt sein. Ist die Tonqualität abgehender Telefongespräche unzureichend, stellen Sie „Modus 2“ oder „Aus“ ein.

• Da BLUETOOTH-Geräte und WLANs (IEEE802.11b/g) mit derselben Frequenz arbeiten, kann es zu Interferenzen im Mikrowellenbereich kommen. Daher kann sich die Kommunikationsgeschwindigkeit verringern oder Rauschen und Störungen usw. können auftreten, wenn dieses Gerät in der Nähe eines WLAN-Geräts verwendet wird. Gehen Sie in einem solchen Fall folgendermaßen vor:– Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät in einem

Abstand von mindestens 10 m vom WLAN-Gerät.

– Wenn dieses Gerät innerhalb von 10 m Entfernung von einem WLAN-Gerät verwendet wird, schalten Sie das WLAN-Gerät aus.

– Stellen Sie dieses Gerät und das Mobiltelefon möglichst nahe beieinander auf.

• Von einem BLUETOOTH-Gerät ausgehende Mikrowellen können den Betrieb von medizinischen Geräten beeinflussen. Schalten Sie dieses Gerät und das Mobiltelefon an folgenden Orten aus. Andernfalls besteht Unfallgefahr.– An Orten mit entzündlichen Gasen, in

einem Krankenhaus, Zug, Flugzeug oder an einer Tankstelle,

– In der Nähe von automatischen Türen oder Feuermeldern.

• Dieses Gerät unterstützt dem BLUETOOTH-Standard entsprechende Sicherheitsfunktionen, um die Verbindungssicherheit bei BLUETOOTH-Funkverbindungen zu gewährleisten. Je nach Einstellung bieten diese jedoch möglicherweise keinen ausreichenden Schutz. Seien Sie bei der Kommunikation mit BLUETOOTH-Funktechnologie also vorsichtig.

• Für Sicherheitslücken bei der Übertragung von Informationen während der BLUETOOTH-Kommunikation kann keine Haftung übernommen werden.

• Eine Verbindung mit allen Mobiltelefonen kann nicht garantiert werden.

Introduction

Qu’est ce que la technologie BLUETOOTH ?

La technologie sans fil BLUETOOTH est une technologie sans fil à courte portée qui permet la communication de données sans fil entre des appareils numériques, tels que des téléphones mobiles et un casque. La technologie sans fil BLUETOOTH fonctionne dans un rayon d’environ 10 mètres. Elle permet de connecter deux appareils entre eux. Cependant, certains appareils peuvent être connectés avec plusieurs autres en même temps.Vous n’avez pas besoin d’un câble pour la connexion car la technologie BLUETOOTH est une technologie sans fil. Il n’est pas non plus nécessaire que les appareils soient placés l’un en face de l’autre comme c’est le cas pour la technologie infrarouge. Vous pouvez par exemple utiliser ce genre d’appareil dans un sac ou dans une poche.La technologie BLUETOOTH est une norme internationale prise en charge et utilisée par des millions de compagnies dans le monde entier.

Profils BLUETOOTHLes profils correspondent à la standardisation des fonctions pour la spécification de chaque appareil BLUETOOTH.Cet appareil prend en charge les profils BLUETOOTH suivants :

HFP (Hands-free Profile) : Communications et fonctionnement du téléphone en mains libres.

OPP (Object Push Profile) : Transfert des données d’un répertoire depuis un téléphone mobile vers cet appareil.

3 étapes nécessaires à la fonction BLUETOOTH

Le pairage (page 8)Enregistrez (« pairage ») tout d’abord l’appareil BLUETOOTH (téléphone mobile) et cet appareil. Une fois le pairage établi, il n’est pas nécessaire de recommencer l’opération.

Pairage et connexion de cet appareil avec un téléphone mobile

Lorsque vous connectez un téléphone mobile pour la première fois, il est nécessaire que les périphériques se reconnaissent mutuellement. Il s’agit du « pairage ». Cette reconnaissance (pairage) est nécessaire la première fois uniquement ; à partir de la seconde connexion, cet appareil et le périphérique se reconnaissent automatiquement. La saisie du code d’authentification n’est nécessaire que la première fois et ne vous sera pas redemandé (en fonction du modèle de votre téléphone mobile, il peut être nécessaire de saisir un code d’authentification à chaque fois).

Connexion avec un téléphone mobile à partir de cet appareilVérifiez au préalable que le téléphone mobile est réglé pour autoriser la recherche (découvrable).

3 Lorsque le message « Recherche d’un téléphone » s’affiche, sélectionnez « OK ».La recherche d’un téléphone mobile à connecter démarre, puis le nom du téléphone mobile détecté apparaît dans une liste. « Inconnu » s’affiche lorsque le nom du téléphone mobile ne peut pas être reçu.Le temps de recherche varie en fonction du nombre de téléphones mobiles.

4 Sélectionnez le téléphone mobile que vous souhaitez connecter.Le pairage démarre.

5 Saisissez un code d’authentification*.Saisissez le même code d’authentification pour cet appareil et pour le téléphone mobile à connecter. Le code d’authentification peut être un nombre que vous avez choisi ou un nombre déterminé par le téléphone mobile à connecter.Pour plus de détails, reportez-vous au manuel du téléphone mobile à connecter.

6 Appuyez sur « Effectué » pour valider.L’indication « Connecté » apparaît et la connexion est terminée.Une opération sur le téléphone mobile peut également être requise pour la connexion, en fonction du modèle que vous possédez.

• La recherche à partir de cet appareil peut ne pas être possible en fonction du modèle que vous possédez. Dans ce cas, recherchez cet appareil à partir du téléphone mobile à connecter.

• Si vous recherchez cet appareil et le téléphone mobile à connecter en même temps, cet appareil ne reconnaîtra pas le téléphone mobile à connecter.

• La recherche ou la connexion peut prendre quelques instants.

• Selon le modèle de votre téléphone mobile, l’écran de confirmation de la connexion s’affiche avant de saisir le code d’authentification.

• Le délai de saisie du code d’authentification varie en fonction du modèle de votre téléphone mobile.

• Bien que cet appareil puisse être apparié avec jusqu’à 8 téléphones mobiles sans que la saisie d’un code d’authentification soit nécessaire, certains téléphones mobiles requièrent parfois ce code.

• Cet appareil ne peut pas être connecté à un téléphone mobile prenant uniquement en charge le profil HSP (Head Set Profile).

Connexion avec des téléphones mobiles enregistrésUne fois appariés et connectés à cet appareil, les téléphones mobiles sont enregistrés.Lorsque l’appareil est mis sous tension, le dernier téléphone mobile ayant été connecté se connecte automatiquement. Pour connecter l’appareil à un autre téléphone mobile enregistré, procédez comme suit.


2 Sélectionnez « Réglages » c « Connexion du téléphone » c « Nouvel enregistrement ».

3 Lorsque le message « Recherche d’un téléphone » s’affiche, sélectionnez « OK ».La liste des téléphones mobiles enregistrés s’affiche.

ConseilVous pouvez transférer un appel reçu sur votre téléphone mobile sur l’appareil. Sélectionnez « Utiliser mains libres » à partir du menu d’appel. Appels récentsPermet de sélectionner un numéro dans l’historique des appels récents. (Nombre maximal de noms et numéros de téléphone pouvant être enregistrés : 40)

Sélectionnez le nom ou le numéro de téléphone à appeler.

Sélectionnez « Options » c « Effacer les appels récents » pour effacer le nom et le numéro de téléphone ou « Effacer tous les appels récents » pour effacer l’historique.

A propos des communications BLUETOOTH• La technologie sans fil BLUETOOTH

fonctionne dans un rayon d’environ 10 mètres. La portée de communication maximum peut varier selon les obstacles (personne, métal, mur, etc.) ou l’environnement électromagnétique.

• Lorsque vous utilisez la fonction BLUETOOTH, placez l’appareil à environ 60 cm du conducteur.

Introductie

Wat is BLUETOOTH-technologie?

Draadloze BLUETOOTH-technologie is een draadloze technologie met een klein bereik waarmee gegevens draadloos kunnen worden overgebracht tussen digitale apparaten, zoals een mobiele telefoon en een headset. Draadloze BLUETOOTH-technologie functioneert binnen een straal van ongeveer 10 meter. Het is gebruikelijk om twee apparaten te verbinden, maar sommige apparaten kunnen met meerdere apparaten tegelijk worden verbonden.U hoeft voor deze verbinding geen kabels te gebruiken, aangezien BLUETOOTH een draadloze technologie is. De apparaten hoeven ook niet op elkaar te worden gericht, zoals bij infraroodtechnologie. U kunt een dergelijk systeem bijvoorbeeld in een tas of jaszak gebruiken.BLUETOOTH-technologie is een internationale norm die door miljoenen bedrijven over de hele wereld wordt ondersteund en gebruikt.

Beschikbare BLUETOOTH-functies

Dit systeem ondersteunt de volgende profielen:

OPP (Object Push Profile): telefoonboekgegevens overzetten van een mobiele telefoon naar dit systeem.

3 stappen voor BLUETOOTH-functionaliteit

Koppelen (pagina 8)Registreer een BLUETOOTH-apparaat (mobiele telefoon) en dit systeem bij elkaar ("koppelen"). Wanneer de koppeling eenmaal tot stand is gebracht, hoeft dit niet opnieuw te gebeuren.

BLUETOOTH-verbinding (pagina 11)Er wordt automatisch verbinding gemaakt.Afhankelijk van het BLUETOOTH-apparaat moet u mogelijk enkele handelingen uitvoeren om de BLUETOOTH-verbinding tot stand te brengen.

Voordat u dit systeem koppelt aan een mobiele telefoon, stelt u het "Bluetooth-signaal" in op "Aan" (pagina 18).

Dit systeem koppelen aan en verbinden met een mobiele telefoon

Wanneer u dit systeem voor het eerst koppelt met een mobiele telefoon, moeten de apparaten eerst onderling worden geregistreerd. Dit wordt "koppelen" genoemd. Deze registratie (koppelen) is alleen de eerste keer vereist. Daarna herkennen dit systeem en de mobiele telefoon elkaar automatisch. Wanneer u eenmaal een toegangscode hebt opgegeven, wordt deze de volgende keer niet meer gevraagd. (Afhankelijk van het model van uw mobiele telefoon moet u mogelijk bij elke verbinding een toegangscode opgeven.)

Dit systeem verbinden met een mobiele telefoon vanaf dit systeemControleer vooraf of zoeken (zichtbaar) is ingesteld op de mobiele telefoon.

3 Selecteer "OK" wanneer "Telefoon zoeken" wordt weergegeven.Het zoeken naar een te verbinden mobiele telefoon wordt gestart, waarna de gevonden telefoonnamen in een lijst worden weergegeven. Als een telefoonnaam niet kan worden ontvangen, wordt "Onbekend" weergegeven.De zoektijd is afhankelijk van het aantal mobiele telefoons.

4 Selecteer de mobiele telefoon waarmee u verbinding wilt maken.Het koppelen wordt gestart.

5 Voer een toegangscode* in.Voer dezelfde toegangscode in voor dit systeem en de te verbinden mobiele telefoon. De toegangscode kan een door u zelf gekozen nummer zijn of een nummer dat wordt bepaald door de te verbinden telefoon.Raadpleeg de handleiding van de te verbinden mobiele telefoon voor meer informatie.

6 Raak "Gereed" aan om te bevestigen."Verbonden" wordt weergegeven en de verbinding is voltooid.Afhankelijk van het model van uw telefoon moeten er voor de verbinding mogelijk ook bewerkingen op de telefoon worden uitgevoerd.

* Toegangscode kan ook "wachtwoord", "PIN-code" of "PIN-nummer", enzovoort worden genoemd, afhankelijk van de telefoon.

Opmerkingen• Tijdens het verbinden met een mobiele

telefoon kan dit systeem niet worden herkend vanaf een andere mobiele telefoon. Voor herkenning vanaf een andere telefoon verbreekt u de huidige verbinding en zoekt u vanaf een andere mobiele telefoon naar dit systeem.

• Zoeken vanaf dit systeem is wellicht niet mogelijk, afhankelijk van het model van uw mobiele telefoon. Zoek in dat geval vanaf de te verbinden telefoon naar dit systeem.

• Als u tegelijkertijd zoekt naar dit systeem en de te verbinden telefoon, herkent dit systeem de te verbinden telefoon niet.

• Het zoeken of verbinding maken kan enige tijd duren.

• Afhankelijk van het model van uw telefoon kan het venster voor het bevestigen van de verbinding worden weergegeven voordat u de toegangscode moet invoeren.

• De beschikbare tijd om de toegangscode in te voeren is afhankelijk van het model van de telefoon.

• Hoewel dit systeem zonder een toegangscode in te voeren aan maximaal 8 mobiele telefoons kan worden gekoppeld, is voor sommige telefoons het invoeren van een toegangscode vereist.

• Dit systeem kan niet worden verbonden met een telefoon die alleen ondersteuning biedt voor HSP (Head Set Profile).

Verbinding maken met geregistreerde mobiele telefoonsMobiele telefoons zijn geregistreerd zodra ze zijn gekoppeld aan en verbonden met dit systeem.Wanneer het systeem wordt ingeschakeld, wordt de laatst verbonden telefoon automatisch verbonden. Voor verbinding met een andere geregistreerde mobiele telefoon gaat u als volgt te werk.


2 Selecteer "Telefooninstellingen" c "Telefoon verbinden" c "Nieuwe registratie".

3 Selecteer "OK" wanneer "Telefoon zoeken" wordt weergegeven.De lijst met geregistreerde telefoons wordt weergegeven.

functioneert binnen een straal van ongeveer 10 meter. De maximale communicatieafstand is afhankelijk van obstakels (personen, metalen voorwerpen, muren, enzovoort) of elektromagnetische storing.

• Wanneer u de BLUETOOTH-functie gebruikt, installeert u dit systeem binnen 60 cm van de bestuurder.

• De volgende omstandigheden kunnen van invloed zijn op de gevoeligheid van BLUETOOTH-communicatie.– Er bevindt zich een obstakel, zoals een

persoon, een metalen voorwerp of een muur, tussen dit systeem en de mobiele telefoon.

– Er bevindt zich een apparaat dat de frequentie 2,4 GHz gebruikt, zoals een draadloos LAN-apparaat, draadloze telefoon of magnetron, in de buurt van dit systeem.

• Omdat BLUETOOTH-apparaten en draadloze LAN-apparaten (IEEE802.11b/g) dezelfde frequentie gebruiken, kan storing worden veroorzaakt door microgolven. Informazioni sulla tecnologia BLUETOOTH

La tecnologia senza fili BLUETOOTH è una tecnologia senza fili a breve raggio che consente la comunicazione di dati tra dispositivi digitali quali, ad esempio, un telefono cellulare e un auricolare. La tecnologia senza fili BLUETOOTH opera entro un raggio di circa 10 m. Generalmente, vengono collegati due dispositivi, tuttavia in alcuni casi è possibile effettuare la connessione a più dispositivi contemporaneamente.Poiché BLUETOOTH è una tecnologia senza fili, per la connessione tra i dispositivi non è necessario utilizzare un cavo. Associazione e connessione del presente apparecchio a un telefono cellulare

Quando si stabilisce la connessione a un telefono cellulare per la prima volta, è necessario che quest’ultimo e il presente apparecchio si registrino reciprocamente. Questa operazione è denominata “associazione” e deve essere effettuata solo la prima volta, in quanto alla successiva connessione il presente apparecchio e il telefono cellulare si riconoscono in modo automatico. Una volta immesso un codice di protezione, non sarà necessario specificarlo di nuovo. (A seconda del modello di telefono cellulare in uso, potrebbe essere necessario immettere un codice di protezione ogni volta che si stabilisce la connessione.)

Connessione a un telefono cellulare dal presente apparecchioInnanzitutto, verificare che il telefono cellulare sia impostato in modo da consentire la ricerca (individuabile).

3 Quando viene visualizzato “Ricerca telefono”, selezionare “OK”.Viene avviata la ricerca di un telefono cellulare a cui è possibile stabilire la connessione, quindi il nome di uno o più telefoni cellulari individuati viene visualizzato in un elenco. Se non è possibile ricevere alcun nome di telefono cellulare, viene visualizzato “Sconosciuto”.La durata della ricerca varia in base al numero di telefoni cellulari.

4 Selezionare il telefono cellulare a cui si desidera stabilire la connessione.Viene avviata l’associazione.

5 Immettere un codice di protezione*.Immettere lo stesso codice di protezione per il presente apparecchio e il telefono cellulare di connessione. Il codice di protezione può essere costituito da un numero selezionato dall’utente o dal numero determinato dal telefono cellulare di connessione.Per ulteriori informazioni, consultare il manuale del telefono cellulare di connessione.

6 Toccare “Fine” per confermare.Una volta completata la connessione, viene visualizzato “Connesso”.A seconda del modello di telefono cellulare in uso, potrebbe essere necessario eseguire un’operazione anche sul telefono cellulare per stabilire la connessione.

• Se si effettua la ricerca del presente apparecchio e del telefono cellulare di connessione contemporaneamente, l’apparecchio non sarà in grado di riconoscere il telefono cellulare di connessione.

• Per la ricerca e la connessione, potrebbe essere necessario attendere alcuni minuti.

• A seconda del modello di telefono cellulare in uso, prima dell’immissione del codice di protezione viene visualizzato il display di conferma della connessione.

• Il limite di tempo previsto per l’immissione del codice di protezione varia in base al modello di telefono cellulare.

• Sebbene il presente apparecchio possa essere associato a un massimo di 8 telefoni cellulari senza immettere un codice di protezione, alcuni telefoni cellulari richiedono l’immissione di tale codice.

• Per utilizzare la funzione BLUETOOTH, installare l’apparecchio ad una distanza massima di 60 cm dal conducente.

• È possibile che la sensibilità della comunicazione BLUETOOTH venga alterata nei casi riportati di seguito.– Se tra il presente apparecchio e il

telefono cellulare sono presenti ostacoli quali persone, elementi metallici o pareti.

– Se in prossimità del presente apparecchio è in uso un dispositivo che impiega frequenze a 2,4 GHz, ad esempio un dispositivo LAN senza fili, un telefono cordless o un forno a microonde.

Introducción

¿Qué es la tecnología BLUETOOTH?

La tecnología BLUETOOTH es una tecnología inalámbrica de corto alcance que permite la transferencia de datos inalámbrica entre dispositivos digitales como, por ejemplo, un teléfono móvil y unos auriculares con micrófono incorporado. La tecnología inalámbrica BLUETOOTH funciona dentro de un radio de unos 10 metros. Aunque lo normal es conectar dos dispositivos, algunos equipos permiten la conexión de varios dispositivos a la vez.Para realizar la conexión no son necesarios cables, puesto que la tecnología BLUETOOTH es una tecnología inalámbrica que, además, no precisa el encaramiento de los dispositivos, como es el caso de la tecnología de infrarrojos. Por ejemplo, es posible utilizar un dispositivo con estas características en un bolso o en el bolsillo.La tecnología BLUETOOTH es un estándar internacional adoptado por miles de empresas de todo el mundo y utilizado por muchas de ellas.

Funciones BLUETOOTH disponibles

Perfiles BLUETOOTHLos perfiles son la estandarización de las funciones para cada especificación del dispositivo BLUETOOTH.Esta unidad admite los siguientes perfiles:

HFP (Hands-free Profile): conversación o utilización del teléfono móvil mediante el manos libres.

OPP (Object Push Profile): tranferencia de datos de la libreta de direcciones desde un teléfono móvil a esta unidad.

Sincronización (página 8)Primero, registre (“sincronice”) un dispositivo BLUETOOTH (teléfono móvil) y esta unidad. Una vez establecida la sincronización, no es necesario realizarla de nuevo.

Sincronización y conexión de la unidad con un teléfono móvil

Al realizar la conexión con un teléfono móvil por primera vez, es necesario que se registren ambos dispositivos. Esta acción se denomina “sincronización”. El registro (sincronización) es necesario tan sólo la primera vez, puesto que la próxima vez el teléfono móvil y la unidad se reconocerán automáticamente. Una vez introducida la clave de acceso, no será necesario volver a introducirla de nuevo. (Según el modelo del teléfono móvil, es posible que tenga que introducir una clave de acceso en cada conexión.)

Conexión con un teléfono móvil desde la unidadPrimero de todo compruebe que el teléfono móvil está configurado para ser detectado.

1 Toque “Teléfono” en el menú principal.

2 Seleccione “Ajustes” c “Conectar teléfono” c “Nuevo registro”.

3 Cuando aparezca “Buscar teléfono”, seleccione “Aceptar”.Se inicia el proceso de búsqueda de teléfonos móviles disponibles y, a continuación, el nombre de los teléfonos aparecen en la lista. • Si busca esta unidad y el teléfono móvil de forma simultánea, la unidad no reconocerá el teléfono móvil.

• La búsqueda y la conexión llevan su tiempo.

• En función del modelo del teléfono móvil, la pantalla de confirmación de la conexión aparecerá antes de introducir la clave de acceso.

• El tiempo límite para introducir la clave de acceso depende del modelo del teléfono móvil.

• Aunque es posible sincronizar la unidad con hasta 8 teléfonos sin introducir una clave de acceso, algunos teléfonos móviles pueden requerirla.

• No es posible conectar esta unidad a un teléfono móvil que admita únicamente HSP (Head Set Profile).

Conexión con teléfonos ya registradosLos teléfonos se registran una vez sincronizados y conectados a la unidad.Al encender la unidad, ésta se conecta automáticamente al último teléfono móvil conectado. Para conectar la unidad a otro teléfono móvil registrado, siga los pasos siguientes.

Es posible proteger la información personal de la libreta de direcciones mediante una contraseña de cuatro dígitos.Si ajusta la seguridad, aparece “Bloqueo de seguridad” y no es posible utilizar la unidad.

Acerca de la comunicación BLUETOOTH• La tecnología inalámbrica

BLUETOOTH funciona dentro de un radio de unos 10 metros. El radio máximo de comunicación puede variar según los obstáculos (personas, objetos metálicos, paredes, etc.) o el entorno electromagnético.

• Al utilizar la función BLUETOOTH, coloque la unidad a no más de 60 cm del conductor.

• Las siguientes condiciones pueden afectar a la sensibilidad de la comunicación BLUETOOTH.– Si hay un obstáculo como, por

ejemplo, una persona, un objeto metálico o una pared entre la unidad y el teléfono móvil.

– Si cerca de la unidad se encuentra en funcionamiento un dispostivo que utiliza una frecuencia de 2,4 GHz, como un dispositivo LAN inalámbrico, un teléfono inalámbrico o un microondas.

• Puesto que los dispositivos BLUETOOTH y LAN inalámbricos (IEEE802.11b/g) utilizan la misma frecuencia, pueden producirse interferencias de microondas que podrían suponer un deterioro de la velocidad de comunicación, la presencia de ruido o la cancelación de la conexión si se utiliza esta unidad cerca de un dispositivo LAN inalámbrico. En este caso, haga lo siguiente.– Utilice la unidad a por lo menos 10

metros del dispositivo LAN inalámbrico.

– Si se utiliza la unidad a menos de 10 metros de un dispositivo LAN inalámbrico, apáguelo.

– Coloque la unidad y el teléfono móvil lo más cerca posible el uno del otro.

Introduktion

Vad är BLUETOOTH-teknik?

Den trådlösa BLUETOOTH-tekniken är en teknik med kort räckvidd som möjliggör trådlös datakommunikation mellan digitala enheter, t.ex. en mobiltelefon och ett headset. BLUETOOTH har en räckvidd om ca. 10 m. Det går alltid att koppla ihop två enheter, men vissa enheter kan vara anslutna till flera andra enheter samtidigt.Du behöver inga kablar eftersom BLUETOOTH är en trådlös teknik. Enheterna behöver heller inte vara riktade mot varandra som med infraröd teknik. Du kan t.ex. använda en sådan här enhet i en väska eller en ficka.BLUETOOTH är en internationell standard som stöds av många företag över hela världen.

Innan du ansluter enheten till en mobiltelefon måste du ställa in ”Bluetooth-signal” på ”På” (sidan 15).

3 Ställ in ”Bluetooth-signal” på ”På”.

Koppla ihop och ansluta enheten till en mobiltelefon

När du ansluter enheten till en mobiltelefon för första gången måste anslutningen registreras på båda enheterna. Detta kallas ”ihopkoppling”. Denna registreringen (ihopkoppling) krävs bara den första gången, eftersom den här enheten och mobiltelefonen kommer att känna igen varandra automatiskt nästa gång. Du behöver bara ange ett lösenord första gången. (Beroende på vilken modell av mobiltelefon du har kan det hända att du måste ange ett lösenord för varje anslutning.)

Ansluta till en mobiltelefon från den här enhetenKontrollera att mobiltelefonen är inställd på att tillåta sökning (kan upptäckas) innan du börjar.

1 Tryck på ”Telefon” på huvudmenyn.

2 Välj ”Telefoninställningar” c ”Anslut telefon” c ”Ny registrering”.

3 När ”Sök efter telefon” visas väljer du ”OK”.Nu börjar enheten söka efter en anslutningsbar mobiltelefon. När sökningen är klar visas namnen på upptäckta mobiltelefoner i en lista. Om ett mobiltelefonnamn inte kan tas emot visas ”Okänd”.Söktiden varierar beroende på antalet mobiltelefoner.

4 Välj den mobiltelefon som du vill ansluta till.Ihopkopplingen startar.

5 Mata in ett lösenord*.Mata in samma lösenord för den här enheten och den anslutande mobiltelefonen. Lösenordet kan antingen vara ett nummer du väljer själv eller det nummer som den anslutande mobiltelefonen bestämmer.Mer information finns i användarhandboken för mobiltelefonen.

6 Tryck på ”Färdig” för att bekräfta.”Ansluten” visas och anslutningen är klar.Beroende på vilken modell av mobiltelefon du har kan anslutningen kräva en åtgärd även på mobiltelefonen.

* Lösenordet kan kallas ”lösenkod”, ”PIN-kod”, ”PIN-nummer” eller ”Nyckel”, etc., beroende på mobiltelefon.

Ansluta till den här enheten från en mobiltelefonKontrollera att ”Visas för andra” på menyn Telefoninställningar är inställt på ”På” (sidan 15).

1 Ställ in den anslutande mobiltelefonen på att söka.En lista med BLUETOOTH-enheter visas i mobiltelefonens display.

2 Välj enhetens modellnamn från listan.

3 Mata in lösenordet på mobiltelefonen.”Lösenordsinmatning” visas på enhetens display.

4 Välj ”OK”.

5 På den här enheten anger du samma lösenord som du angav i steg 3.Beroende på vilken modell av mobiltelefon du har kan anslutningen kräva en åtgärd även på mobiltelefonen.

Obs!• När du ansluter till en mobiltelefon kan

enheten inte upptäckas från en annan mobiltelefon. För att kunna upptäckas måste du koppla ned den aktuella anslutningen och söka efter enheten från en annan mobiltelefon.

• Beroende på modell av mobiltelefon kan det hända att det inte går att söka från den här enheten. I så fall söker du efter den här enheten från den anslutande mobiltelefonen.

• Om du söker efter den här enheten och den anslutande mobiltelefonen samtidigt kan den här enheten inte känna igen den anslutande mobiltelefonen.

• Det kan ta långt tid att söka eller ansluta.• Beroende på modell av mobiltelefon kan

meddelandet som bekräftar anslutningen visas innan du får ange lösenordet.

• Tidsgränsen för inmatning av lösenordet varierar mellan olika mobiltelefonmodeller.

• Trots att den här enheten kan kopplas ihop med upp till 8 mobiltelefoner utan att ett lösenord anges, kan vissa mobiltelefoner kräva att ett lösenord anges.

I så fall kan du göra på följande sätt.– Använd enheten minst 10 m bort från

Introdução

O que é a tecnologia BLUETOOTH?

A tecnologia BLUETOOTH sem fios é uma tecnologia sem fios de curto alcance que permite a comunicação de dados entre equipamentos digitais, como um telemóvel (telefone celular) e um auricular, sem precisar de fios. A tecnologia BLUETOOTH sem fios funciona até uma distância máxima de cerca de 10 m. A ligação de dois equipamentos é normal, mas alguns deles podem ligar-se a diversos equipamentos ao mesmo tempo.Não é necessário utilizar um cabo para fazer a ligação pois a tecnologia BLUETOOTH não precisa de fios, nem colocar os equipamentos um virado para o outro, como no caso da ligação por infravermelhos. Pode, por exemplo, utilizar o equipamento num saco/carteira ou no bolso.A tecnologia BLUETOOTH é uma norma internacional suportada por milhões de empresas em todo o mundo e utilizada por várias companhias.

Funções BLUETOOTH disponíveis

• Conversação em mãos livres com o telemóvel instalado no automóvel (possibilidade de fazer/receber chamadas) – HFP

• Transferência da lista telefónica a partir do telemóvel – OPP

Perfis BLUETOOTHOs perfis são a normalização das funções correspondentes às características de cada equipamento BLUETOOTH.Este sistema é compatível com os perfis seguintes:

HFP (Hands-free Profile): Permite falar/utilizar o telefone em mãos livres.

OPP (Object Push Profile): Permite transferir dados da lista telefónica de um telemóvel para este sistema de navegação.

Os 3 passos da função BLUETOOTH

Sincronização (página 8)Primeiro, registe (“sincronize”) um equipamento BLUETOOTH (telemóvel) e o sistema de navegação um com o outro. Uma vez efectuada a sincronização, não precisa de a executar novamente.

Sincronizar e ligar o sistema a um telemóvel

Quando faz a ligação a um telemóvel pela primeira vez, é necessário que os equipamentos se reconheçam mutuamente. Este reconhecimento designa-se por “sincronização”. O reconhecimento (sincronização) só é necessário na primeira vez, pois a partir da segunda ligação o aparelho e o telemóvel reconhecem-se automaticamente. Uma vez introduzida a palavra-chave, não é necessário introduzi-la outra vez. (Dependendo do modelo do telemóvel, pode ter de introduzir a palavra-chave sempre que fizer uma ligação.)

Fazer a ligação a um telemóvel a partir do sistema de navegaçãoPrimeiramente, verifique se o telemóvel está programado para autorizar a procura (detectável).

Se não for possível detectar um telemóvel, aparece a indicação“Desconhecido”.O tempo da procura varia com o número de telemóveis.

4 Seleccione o telemóvel a que quer ligar-se.A sincronização começa.

5 Introduza uma palavra-chave*.Introduza a mesma palavra-chave para o sistema e o telemóvel a que quer ligar-se. A palavra-chave pode ser um número seleccionado por si ou um número determinado pelo telemóvel a ligar.Para informações, consulte o manual do telemóvel a ligar.

6 Toque em “Concluído” para confirmar.Aparece a indicação “Ligado” e a ligação está terminada.Dependendo do modelo do telemóvel, também pode ser necessário executar a operação no telemóvel.

sistema não pode ser detectado por outro telemóvel. Para que seja detectado, desligue a ligação actual e procure o sistema a partir de outro telemóvel.

• Dependendo do modelo do telemóvel, pode não ser possível procurar a partir do sistema de navegação. Nesse caso, procure o sistema a partir do telemóvel a ligar.

• Se procurar o sistema e o telemóvel a ligar, ao mesmo tempo, o sistema pode não reconhecer o telemóvel que quer ligar.

• A ligação ou a procura pode demorar algum tempo.

• Dependendo do modelo do telemóvel, o ecrã de confirmação da ligação aparece antes da introdução da palavra-chave.

• O tempo limite para a introdução da palavra-chave difere com o modelo do telemóvel.

• Embora possa sincronizar este sistema com um máximo de 8 telemóveis sem introduzir a palavra-chave, nalguns telemóveis pode ser necessário fazê-lo.

• Não pode ligar este sistema a um telemóvel que seja compatível apenas com HSP (Head Set Profile).

Ligação a telemóveis registadosUma vez ligados e sincronizados com o sistema, os telemóveis ficam registados (são reconhecidos).Quando liga o sistema de navegação, liga-se automaticamente ao último telemóvel a que se ligou. Para se ligar a outro telemóvel registado, faça o indicado abaixo.

funciona até uma distância de cerca de 10 m. A distância máxima de comunicação pode variar se houver obstáculos (pessoas, metais, paredes, etc.) ou campos electromagnéticos.

• Quando utilizar a função BLUETOOTH, instale o sistema num local a uma distância de 60 cm do condutor.

• As condições indicadas abaixo podem afectar a sensibilidade da comunicação BLUETOOTH.– Há um obstáculo, como uma pessoa,

metal ou uma parede entre o sistema e o telemóvel.

– Está a ser utilizado um dispositivo com uma frequência de 2,4 GHz, como um dispositivo de rede sem fios, um telefone sem fios ou um forno microondas perto do sistema.
