• Securing private information
• Daily use Using technology and information systems

• Have a good password and protect it
• Be aware of your computer environment

• Be able to identify potentially dangerous software, pop ups, downloads, etc.

• Can include music, video, or any other files
• Programs such as Limewire, Kazaa, Napster, and torrent services
• Potential legal ramifications
• Exposing computer to a variety of threats:– Viruses in downloads– Incorrect file sharing settings– In the news…Limewire File Sharing Fraud
You Could Be in Big Trouble…
