tionwide, but never before have would-be moguls been

able to get a degree in the field. Until now. Grand Can-

yon University’s College of Entrepreneurship, slated to

open in January, will be the first fully accredited college

Summary: While entrepreneurship education program-

ming has existed in both the credit and non-credit arenas

at Johnson County Community College in Overland

Park, Kansas for 24+ years, we continue to develop

and refine our entrepreneurship offerings. The presenta-

tion will not only explain the evolution of the program at

JCCC but will explain the rationale for and results of

each of the models we have developed over the years.

We will share the successful (and the not-so-successful)

— including the 12 entrepreneurship credit courses, the

Associate of Applied Science degree program in Entre-

preneurship, and the 22 program-specific entrepreneur-

ship certificates being offered across campus...
