Autumn generally brings about a dryer and cooler climate which

can flare up rough, dry and dehydrated skins. It is important to

keep skin adequately hydrated and protected. Ensure you drink

enough water to keep cells plump and youthful and enrich your

body with nutrient dense plant based foods to give your skin the

lit from within glow that nothing else can!

Use a gentle cleanser that will not strip your skin of natural oils.

One with a creamy feel to it is often more delicate on the skin.

The previous warmer seasons may have resulted in skin cell

build up so it is important to exfoliate gently. Avoid anything too

harsh and try to allow the product to do the work for you rather

than scrubbing away at your skin too aggressively.

to properly penetrate and nourish the skin.

Skin tends to require slightly richer moisturisers during the cooler

months. Step things up a notch if you have been using

something light over the summer. A good one to try would be

MOIStURISE: There’s no point having a plump

pout if your lips are going to be dry and chapped.

Keep your lips moisturised by using a good quality

lip balm. Even pure organic coconut oil does the

trick as an overnight salve!

FRaME: Firstly, take a lip pencil in a shade slightly

warmer than your natural lip colour and frame the

outline of your lips to give them dimension and shape.

Take the pencil just outside your natural lip line to

create a trick of shadow, making your lip shape

appear fuller.

BLEnD: Once you’re happy with the shape you’ve

outlined, gently blend the pencil inwards into your

lips with a small brush so the effect remains natural

looking.

HIGHLIGHt: next, apply a very light pink-toned lip

pencil or a cream concealer onto the central area

around your upper and lower lips, making sure

not to go over the lip line you’ve already applied.

This sneaky trick creates the illusion of light and will

make your pout look extra plump. Similarly, adding

a touch of pearlescent highlighter or eyeshadow to your

Cupid’s bow will further accentuate your pout.

COLOUR: Lip colours close to your natural lip shade

tend to work better than darker hues. It ensures that

when the colour wears off you are not left with the

dark outline. But, if done well this look is totally

achievable, just don’t forget to top up your colour!

Use concealer or a lighter colour to create an illusion

of light. Using a small lip brush, blend the lighter

colour through the centre and outwards slightly – so

it merges seamlessly into your lips. Think of it like

contouring/highlighting your lips. This should result

in a natural looking yet gorgeously voluptuous pout!

GEt GLOSSy: Finally, finish the look with a slick of

an ultra-hydrating gloss focusing on the centre of

the lips to accentuate the highlighted areas.

WHAT HAVE yOU BEEn UP TO SInCE THE SHOW?

Since the show I’ve been concentrating heavily on my work and

studies. A bit of fun and travel here and there but this last 1.5 years

I have focused on my career, moving overseas and goal setting.

WHAT IS yOUR FAVOURITE ALPHA-H PRODUCT?

That’s like asking me to choose my favourite child! I have a top

5 and I refuse to leave any out. Protection Plus Daily SPF50+,

another side of me honestly couldn’t deal with rejecting people

at rose ceremonies.

Autumn calls for added texture, warmth and comfort. Create a

cosy reading nook full of trinkets, collections and inspiration.

There are plenty of sources for inspiration from interior design

blogs, as well as home decor websites like houzz and zanui.

Add layers throughout a space with patterned rugs, carved

wooden tables and chairs, leather and faux fur textiles within

chairs, cushions, throws.

The addition of a few quirky yet visually compelling coffee table

books adds character to any living space. Tell tales of adventures

past or cast the net wide to open up endless possibilities and

dreams. The scope of your library is limitless!

The current trends have a heavy focus on recycled or re-purposed

The labyrinth of ancient laneways in Barri Gòtic are lined with

hidden treasures; medieval monuments, bustling cafes,

boutiques and arts.

La Rambla is bursting at the seams with people, food, market

stalls and entertainment. Saunter your way down this strip to the

glistening waterfront then hop onboard a catamaran for a few

hours of laid-back leisure.

Stumble across Gaudi’s architectural masterpieces when

strolling along Passeig de Gracia. Make sure you get there

early as queues reach epic proportions around midday.

Put simply, Barcelona is food heaven. Take your pick from

thousands of places that offer delicious selections of traditional

tapas and exotic fusions.

Ocaña located in Plaça Reial, is one of the most charismatic

places in Barcelona and the meeting point for bohemians

and artists. It’s a great spot to people watch while sipping

sangria and absorbing the square’s entertainment.

Fall in love with vegan food at teresa Carles. This exceptional

place is a paradise of delicious flavours and warm rustic

charm. Centrally located near Plaça de Catalunya it’s a

must for anyone who loves fresh, zesty food with maximum

flavour and a modern twist.

Shopping could almost be a sport in Barcelona. you can find

anything and everything in the countless boutiques and large

department stores. From high-end luxury to bargains galore.

Give your credit card an ultimate workout on Passeig de Gracia

– the Champs-Elysées of Barcelona and home of high-end. All

your favourite designers can be found here, from Jimmy Choo to

Louis Vuitton.

Roam the old town for bohemian inspired eclectic pieces from

local fashion designers and artisans.

InGREDIEnTS

1 C. Raw Peanut Butter, smooth

8 Dates (Medjool, if possible)

1½ T. Raw Honey (or Agave for Vegan)

1 T. Coconut Oil

¼ t. Salt

1 T. Coconut Flour

1 recipe Chocolate Coating

InSTRUCTIOnS

Add the peanut butter to a high powered blender or food processor. Add the dates, one at a time and process together with the peanut butter until smooth. Add the honey, coconut oil, and salt and process until blended. Stir in the coconut flour with a rubber spatula until well combined. Mixture should be thick.

Using a 1 Tablespoon scoop, scoop out even portions of the mixture onto a non-stick mat or parchment lined baking sheet. Roll each portion into a smooth oval and flatten slightly into an egg shape.

Freeze for 30 minutes.

Dip each egg into the chocolate coating. Spoon the coating over the top of the egg, making sure that it is completely covered in the coating. Tap off excess chocolate and place back on the lined baking sheet. Because the eggs are so cold, the chocolate should harden almost immediately.

Repeat with remaining eggs.

Store in the refrigerator.

Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs

RAW CHOCOLATE COATInG:

4 T. Raw Cacao Powder4 T. Coconut Oil2 T. Raw Honey

Place the cacao powder and coconut oil in a small, microwave safe bowl. Place in the microwave and heat JUST until the oil begins to melt slightly. you don’t want it to be completely liquid, just runny enough to mix in with the cacao powder.

Mix the cacao powder and coconut oil until well combined. Mix in the honey. Mixture should be liquid enough to use as a dipping chocolate, but not so runny that it pours off of a spoon. If it is too thick to use for dipping, place it back in the microwave for a few more seconds. If you accidentally over-do it, put the mixture in the fridge to chill. Stir every few minutes until it firms up to desired consistency.
