WCSHC will sponsor and facilitate canning workshops in Mississippi and Alabama according to the Queen of Canning 94 years old “Mother Ozolla Eichelberger” . This time of year creates excitement for Mother Ozolla because gardens will soon produce fresh leafy vegetables and “I am ready to share and demonstrate my canning experiences to help families reduce food cost and improve their health by consuming fresh vegetables” . Mother Ozolla’s canning arsenal contains recipes spanning three centuries, which helped rear 14 healthy children. This is your opportunity to learn from this legendary Mother and others experienced canning practitioners.
