The Holy Spirit and You Many Christians are uncertain or even confused when faced with a question about the Holy Spirit. He seems vague and ghostlike. You know — “the Holy Ghost.” On the other hand, there are those who seem almost too cer-tain about the Holy Spirit and become dogmatic in their beliefs. The Holy Spirit is neither a puzzle nor a battle-
ground. He is one of the persons of the Holy Trinity. We can know Him as we know the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ. DVD $15, now $8

And I, John, saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” — Revelation 21:1-4 Westminster Brass Thomas Elliott, trombone Chancel Choir and Festival Singers of Proclamation Presbyterian Church Ryan Kelly, director Hilary Orlando, organ & piano

Musical Offering: Choral Reflection on Amazing Grace arr. R. Ames Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, was blind, but now I see. Through many dangers, toils, and snares we have already come; ‘Twas grace that brought us safe thus far, and grace will lead us home. Kyrie eleison, Christe eleison, Kyrie eleison (Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy). ‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed! When we’ve been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun, We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we’d first begun. The Lord has promised good to me, his word my hope secures. He will my shield and portion be as long as life endures.
