How to assemble 24PIN cable
1. Fold the 24PIN cable according to figure 1:
2.Stick about 40mm double-sided tape in the black rectangle
which has already been marked out on the plastic plate (Please
according to figure2)
3.1 Insert the width of 5mm 24pin cable into A then push down.
This can prevent 24pin cable move away from OPU. Please according
to figure3
3.2 Glue 24pin cable on plastic plate, where has already been
pasted on double side-tape Please according to figure4

How to replace the Main Board with models from SONY OPU to
IM OPU
1. Change the value of the two resistances R38, R39 from 100 ohm
to 0 ohm (Figure 1)

2. Put the Main Board in the set with IM OPU and upgrade the
software. (Refer to Software
Upgrading)

Software Upgrading
A. Preparing for firmware upgrade
1) Download the latest software release
package.
2) Extract the files from ZIP archive (Do not
rename the filename).
3) Start the CD Burning Software and
create a new CD project (data disc) with
the following settings:
File System: CD-ROM
Joliet
File name length: max 31
chars (ISO Level 2)
Mode: 2/XA
Character set: ISO 9660
Recording Format: Single
session (track at once), finalize
CD
Write speed: low
1) Place the extracted file into the root
directory of the new CD project.
2) Burn the data onto a blank CDR or
CD-RW Disc
B. Upgrading the firmware
1) Power on the set, open the tray and load
the Upgrade Disc.
2) The set will start reading the disc and
the TV screen will display:
Upgrade File Detected
Files Copying..
UPGRADING
3) When file copying is done, the tray will
open automatically. Take out the disc.
4) The set will still be showing:
Upgrade File
Detected
UPGRADING while upgrading the
software.
5) The upgrading process will be
completed when the set restarts and the
tray automatically closes.
Note: The whole process will take
approximately 2 minutes. Do not press
any button or interrupt the mains supply
during the upgrading process, otherwise
the set will be defective.
C. Checking the software version to
confirm the set has been upgraded
1) Power on the set and press
button on the remote control.
2) Pressbutton and the TV
screen will display:

Where: ZZ = software release version for the

upgraded with software V20, the TV Screen
