2 Low GI to boost and keep your (and your loved ones) brain power

Saturday 25 April

In this talk Anna covers how to put together a simple meal plate that can instantlyhelp stabilise your mood and concentration. Your brain relies on an even and steadysupply of fuel (glucose). When this fuel is too high or too erratic, your brainbecomes unable to respond correctly to the fuel and the cells become resistant.Result: poor concentration, erratic moods, or a gradual decline in brain power.Alzheimer’s has been called “type 3 diabetes” and if you follow Anna’s simple suggestions you will start to reduce your risk dramatically.

Anna is happy after the talk to share her ideal meal plate suggestions for a low GIeating plan to help your brain thrive.

1 Healthy vegetarian eating and how to get what you need without eating meat or fish

Saturday 11 April

What is healthier – vegetarian or non-vegetarian diet? Anna will focus on one ofthe biggest struggles in vegetarian eating – how to get enough high quality protein.Protein is needed for keeping you resilient to stress and infection. The talk will alsodeal with why certain plant proteins are designed to resist digestion and how youcan overcome this. Anna also explains what a healthy vegetarian meal plate wouldlook like. She also focuses on what vegetarians get trapped into overeating, and onwhat they might need to supplement in order to stay healthy.

People who would like a copy of Anna’s FREE “your ideal vegetarian meal plate”can get one after the talk.
