Cartier ² Bresson.

He believed, ¶action· in any given situation eventually reach apeak, at which time the photograph will capture the mostpowerful image possible.

With the invention of 1st 3 mm camera, began the modern

Photojournalism, in Leica, Germany.

Photos no longer were published in albums individually, andthe ¶subjects· no longer had to pose for camera.

Photographers could capture live photos, & Editors wouldthen select those they best believed told the story.

Not only still images, but videos as well used in broadcastjournalism.

Emerged as a distinctive form of photography in the late1920s and early 1930s.
