The two-day 45th NationalManagement Convention ofAll India Management

Association focussed on thefuture of the country and how toscale up the country's economicgrowth.

Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog,in his keynote address at theconvention said that there hasbeen a paradigm shift in terms ofinnovation that has taken placein India. "It is important that theprivate sector keeps pace withthe government in usinginnovation and driving change inIndia. The size and scale of whatthe government is doing isphenomenal," he said.

Minister of Road Transport &Highways, Shipping and WaterResources, River Development &Ganga Rejuvenation,Government of India, in a specialsession of Aap ki Adalat, had saidthat we should fight on ideologyand programmes and all partiesshould raise the level of politics.Commenting on rising petrolprices, he suggested that the bestway to solve the problem is touse alternative fuels and do awaywith oil imports. We can reducethe price of LPG cylinder by Rs100 by using methanol, which ismade from coal and is priced at

Rs 22 and has the same calorificvalue as diesel.

Suresh Prabhu, Minister ofCommerce & Industry and CivilAviation, Government of India, ina video message, said that Indiais poised for a huge growth andin 2017-18 India registered thehighest growth of exports, whichwas on a decline for a few years.He also mentioned that theywere working on district levelgrowth in India and were alsoworking on new industrial policy,agriculture export policy, andtransformative measures forlogistics.
