Photoshop – Front Cover

• I created the background using the paint bucket tool.

• I also created my barcode using several rectangle shapes.

• Secondly I created my masthead. I chose the font; ChocolateDealer, I felt like this font suited the style of my magazine overall.

• Thirdly I added my banner to the magazine front cover. This follows the conventions of music magazines.

• After I added the social network details for the magazine.

• I also added the price, date and issue number of the magazine.

• I added my cover image. I used the pen tool and the background Eraser tool to remove the background around my cover star.

• I further edited the picture of my cover star by duplicating the image and using the colour overlay effect and moving the image to the left several spaces.

• Finally I added all of my cover lines. I used different fonts to make certain things bold on the cover.
