• Relevantsupplychainpartiesshouldbeinvolvedindevelopingandimplementingcontrolsastheyoftenhaveresponsibilityforfactorsthatcontributetoriskfortransportoperators.Forexample,wheretheriskinvolvesunsafeinteractionsaroundaloadingdock,thecustomersiteshouldbeinvolvedastheyhaveresponsibilityfortheinfrastructure.
• Specificcontractprovisionsshouldaddressissuesthatimpactonhazardousmanualtasksandwork-relatedstressissuessuchasscheduling,incentivesandpenalties.
