  • A running lane 10 metres long by 5 metres wide was set up with 4 cones in the middle of the grid. At the start of this test, I lay face down on the floor. On the signal GO I got up as quickly as I could and followed the track shown in the diagram. I sprinted for 10 metres then weaved in and out of the cones and back and then sprinted to the finish line. Whilst I completed this, my partner timed my run. This test was completed 3 times with a full recovery in between each attempt to ensure maximum effort. My best score was compared to that of national norms of individuals of the same age and gender.
