Projectile Motion

• Projectile – objects that are thrown or launched into the air ( have an initial velocity) and are subject to gravity.

• Examples: bullet, missile, basketball shot, a long jumper, car, etc…

• Treat 2-D motion problems as two separate 1-D motion problems.
