DEAR EVAN HANSEN a terr ific new musical is the New York Times cr itics pick of the year . A sure thing for a Tony Award, this endearing musical addresses with great heart and humor the social anxiety we all have ex-perienced. Young Evan is a friendless 17 year old played by the wonderful Ben Platt. In this superb production, the clever story tracks Evan’s rise through a series of errors from being a friendless nerd to the lionized leader of a so-cial media movement. The show perfectly evokes the treacherous waters in which high schoolers swim. This is a lovely musical and I can promise you a show that you will be so happy you experienced and unexpectedly love. COME FROM AWAY You will not be able to resist the gale of good will that blows out of this big bear hug of a musical that just opened this year. A story of the good citizens of Gander who opened their hearts to the pas-sengers and crew stranded in their small town after the attacks on the World Trade Center. This small town of 7000 was unexpectedly forced to host another 7000 visitors whom arrived that day. The Newfoundlers offered their hearts and homes. A favorite instance is when a woman says “Thank you for coming to Walmart. Would you like to come home for a shower?” Longtime friendships were made. People fall in love, break up and learn the world has changed. Another new musical with an impact you will remember. HELLO DOLLY Bette Midler star s. Glowin’, Growin’, Goin’ Strong, she’s ready for a new challenge. The irre-sistible score is directed by Jerry Zaks (who has won four Tony’s), this is a major production and perfectly show-cases Ms. Midler’s talented appeal. The show is the hottest and most expensive ticket on Broadway. Opening day ticket sales generated the biggest advance sales in Broadway history. Backed up by a great cast and ably assisted by the always talented David Hyde Pierce, this is a must see Broadway event! GROUND HOG DAY based on the popular 1993 film, is a show destined for a long run. It has great music and a witty staging. The revolving set swirls around and around and features Phil Collins, the arrogant, conceited weather man, who finds himself in a time loop and going in circles. It had its world premier at the Old Vic Theatre in London, and received rave reviews from the very difficult London critics. The wonderful music and great char-acters, although sentimental, works through a feeling of hope and new beginnings. A perfectly lovely musical.

You are invited to join us this fall, as Broadway buzz is this is the very best that Broadway has offered for quite a few years. There are so many terrific new and exciting musicals, including the Divine Ms. M in a show that is a perfect fit for her talents. Enjoy four nights in a wonderful new hotel for you to experience, the 5 star Lotte Palace (formerly Helmsley Palace) at 50th & Madison, a location that many of you are familiar with. Bellmen whisk your luggage to your room with views overlooking St. Patrick's Cathedral. Included in the Tour are orchestra seats to four critically acclaimed new musicals. Private transportation takes you to and from the theatre each day. Should you wish to extend after New York we will be offering a three night extension to the Hudson River Valley.
