What better way to get into the jolly, holiday spirit than with a mo-

tor coach trip to our state’s capital to view the annual display of

Christmas Trees and Lights! The Capitol will be transformed into a

forest of beautiful Christmas Trees under a canopy of snowflakes

and stars. Twinkling lights and red poinsettias stand out against a

background of white marble, becoming a winter wonderland.

Past years’ themes have been “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,”

“Santa’s Workshop,” and “Joyous Sounds of Christmas.”

We’ll depart from Sioux Falls first thing in the morning and make

stops along the interstate for passengers. We’ll have coffee and

treats on board to hold you over until lunchtime.

While in Pierre, we’ll tour the Capitol Building, view the area’s

Christmas decorations, have lunch (on Prairie Coach!), and tour

the Museum at the South Dakota Historical Society’s Cultural Cen-

ter. We’ll depart for home in the afternoon, stopping at Al’s Oasis

for our evening meal (again, on Prairie Coach!).
