of

these works, please

ensure that you

this to

Site

Daily

weather

reports

are

to

the

adjacent

to flood causing

flood

which poses

a risk to

Weather

will

also

be

monitored to

ensure

adverse

conditions

in

respect

of

asbestos

fibre risk

are

not

encountered

without

the

provision

of

adequate risk

control

measures. Such

adverse

conditions

would typically be dry,

sunny

and windy.

Only

suitably licensed

and

experienced

persons

will

be

used for

any asbestos

work and

ALL

asbestos will

be

removed to

a suitably licensed

landfill. All

asbestos works,

whether

deemed

to

be

categorised

as ‘Minor’

or ‘Major’

will be subject

to

separate risk

assessments

and method

statements

 RAMS .

A temporary herras fence l ine

should

be constructed

along the

route of the

river to ensure

no

operatives can

access the

watercourse

deliberately

or

accidentally from

the phase

site.

A

decontamination unit

will

be on site

for

the duration

of the

works

along

with all

relevant

coveralls and

given

the

nature of the work.

All

personnel

will

have

RPE and in the

decontamination procedures.

A

full

site

to

all site personnel explaining

the nature

of the works

and the use of

the

decontamination works.

During

periods of asbestos

work no

un licensed

operatives will

be working in

that area.

All

machines

will

be

checked

daily for evidence

of damage

which may

lead to any

spillages

which may

cause

harm to the

river;

if

anything is noted

this

will

be

recorded and

rectified

before works

progress.

Vehicle cabs

will

also

be

periodically

air

tested

for

the

presence

of asbestos fibres.

Sepa’s

emergency

pollution

be

given

to all

personnel

on

site

so

that

in

the unlikely

event

of pollution

occurring thi s can be

reported

immediately;

if this

situation

occurs works

Daily

air
