Pillars of Door County We work to gather the resources to create positive and lasting change. The type of lasting change that empowers people to build better lives for themselves and their families resulting in a stronger Door County community. As Leadership Circle donors with United Way of Door County, you are investing in the efforts of collaborative groups of professionals, volunteers, and community members. Together they have not only identified the needs of our area, they have also prioritized those needs and the financial resources available to our strategic partner programs that are helping to build a better community. It’s not just about supporting our annual campaign. As a Leadership Circle Donor, you provide support to the continual discovery, formation, education, execution, and evaluation of programs that provide real solutions to the needs of our area, year after year, through United Way’s key impact areas of: • Basic Needs: Helping to meet basic needs for food, transportation, housing, safety, and jobs. • Community Wellness: Enhancing neighbors, individuals, and families to continue to build strong relationships in caring for each other and understanding the roles and challenges each faces. • Health: Encouraging healthy lifestyles, access to dental, hearing, mental, primary, and vision health care. • Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA): Challenging the community to embrace change in the culture involving alcohol and other drug use. • Communication/Collaboration: Promoting awareness, acceptance, and utilization of all community resources. Facilitating efficiencies among various community resources. United Way of Door County appreciates your role as a donor as well as an advocate in helping to impact more than 8,000 lives each year. Thank you for involvement in and support of this important work. Thank you for LIVING UNITED! Please remember United Way of Door County in your will.
