Pinch River (formerly stilelemente) is a fusion of my creativity and love of natural environments, resulting in unique hand-made products – Australian style for everyday living.

Inspired by beauty :: my travels, natural and built environments inform my design process with the starting point in my own back yard – the vast and diverse Australian landscape. We are fortunate to have

such an immense choice of subject matter to draw on from our native flora and fauna – which informs the work of many talented Australian designers and artists, each offering a unique interpretation.

Eco and ethical cloth, primarily hemp / organic cotton blend, is printed by hand in Australia using water-based solvent-free inks. These eco fabrics are suitable for residential and commercial applications.

Limited production off-the-shelf homewares, made with the textiles, demonstrate possible end uses for the fabrics and show how the designs and colourways work together.

Placement prints, on tea towels and other products, are printed in the home studio and there is also an ever-expanding range of eco-friendly greeting cards with more paper products in the pipeline. As time

permits other products will be made available for sale, such as original artworks, prints and photographs and there is a ceramics range in the works for the not-too-distant future…

NB: Catalogue images show groupings of cushions and other homewares en masse to show varieties in the way the design can work but is not necessarily how they would be grouped in a residential or

commercial setting.
