For Christians, no day is as glorious and as joyous as the day on which we commemorate the nativity of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

From early child-hood, we are struck by the sentiments of unfathomable mys-tery, simple and yet

sublime, which stir us the evocation of the birth of the Di-vine Child.

Then, what does Christmas tell us?

It simply conveys that the more we ad-vance on the path of life, the more we shall realize our respective roles.

It reminds us that in hardships we often find strength and wis-dom; that in adver-sity new friendships can be formed; and

in crisis the commu-nities can break down barriers and bind to-gether.

Despite the politi-cal unrest and loom-ing threats of internal security, I know that deep inside all we want is peace. So to-day, it won’t be about rewriting history but about celebrating the essence of Christ-mas. Today, we will quit whining and start taking action. Today, we will start picking

up and reforming the broken pieces.

In this regard, we shall look at the fu-ture with sense of ca-maraderie and mutual respect. May our de-votion to our country, our love of freedom, our inheritance of courage and strength are of greater avails as God upholds us.Merry Christmas to all of us! Mabuhay po tayong lahat!(PCSUPT Carmelo E. Valmoria / Region-al Director)

Christmas is a time of giving and sharing. As we celebrate this season, I enjoin every-one to share our blessings with our less fortunate brothers and sisters who were hit by Typhoon Pablo. This is one way of expressing our deepest gratitude for all the bountiful blessings God has showered upon us. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! (PSUPT Martin Gamba, Editor in Chief)

God sent into this world a unique person –not just a mere sage but a great Saviour with the power to forgive. Forgiveness heals broken families, restores friendships and rec-onciles divided communities. It is in forgiveness that we feel the power of God's love . In a month of colored lights and glowing candles, we should be burning brighter than ever as His lights to this world. To the people we serve, Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year! (PO1 Ryan C. Cagula,Associate Editor)

The message of Christ’s birth is the message of Hope and Lasting Peace, may we live its message in our daily life now and til Jesus Christ Comes… Blissful New Year for all of us. (PO2 Anthony S. Echin, writer)

At this special time of year, we give thanks for Christ's message of love and hope. Christmas reminds us that we have a duty to others and we see that sense of duty ful-filled in our service for this country. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all! (PO3 Zena Menioria-Panaligan, writer)

As we commemorate the birth of our Jesus Christ, let us be humble in spirit but strong in our conviction of what is right; steadfast to endure sacrifice, and brave to achieve a victory of peace. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! (PO3 Darlin Cabalinan-Migullas, writer)

As we celebrate this meaningful occasion, let us internalize we are all passengers on the same boat. No one can achieve true development and prosperity in isolation, or secure durable peace and stability on one’s own. Our only choice is to confront challenges to-gether and pursue mutual benefit. May we receive the blessing of lasting unity this yule-tide season! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! (PO1 Ruth Kahrreen Aranton-Pontillo, Photographer)
