Tubular Sleeve 4 pipes

CanusaTube™ PLATubular sleeve for pipeline corrosion protection

The CanusaTube™ PLA is a heat shrinkable tubular sleeve designed for corrosion protection of buried and exposed steel pipelines. CanusaTube™ PLA consists of a crosslinked polyolefin backing, coated with a protective heat sensitive adhesive which effectively bonds to steel substrates and common pipeline coa-tings including polyethylene and fusion bonded epoxy.

Rapid & Reliable Installation• CanusaTube™ PLA consists of a unique tubular configuration that has been factory constructed, resulting in a quick and reliable field installation. • CanusaTube™ PLA is manufactured with a specially formu- lated adhesive to accommodate demanding operating tem- peratures and soil stress conditions.

Long Term Corrosion Protection• CanusaTube™ PLA provides excellent resistance to cathodic disbondment resulting in effective long term corrosion pro- tection.• The high performance crosslinked backing in combination with the specially formulated adhesive is engineered to have excellent resistance against temperature cycling, and chemical and environmental attack.

Saves Time & Money• With CanusaTube™ PLA’s unique construction, less time is required handling, positioning and installing separate closures.• This feature allows for a fast, simple and complete installation of the sleeve, with no primers required. This minimizes instal- lation time and labour costs while promoting high production rates.

K-60 Heat-Shrinkable Sleeve 4 pipes

K-60 Heat-Shrinkable SleeveCorrosion protective heat-shrinkable sleeve

The Canusa K-60 Wraparound sleeve is designed for corrosion protection of buried and exposed pipelines operating up to 60°C (140°F). K-60 consists of a crosslinked polyolefin backing, coating with a technologically advanced corrosion protective adhesive, which effectively bonds to the steel substrages and common pipeline coatings including polyethylene and fusion bonded epoxy.

Rapid & Reliable Installation• K-60 has a patented one piece WrapidSleeve construction that incorporates a pre-attached closure strip. Because the closure is factory applied, a quick and reliable field installation is easily accomplished.• K-60 is supplied with a yellow or black polyethylene backing, based on its intended usage.

Long Term Corrosion Protection• K-60 provides excellent resistance to Cathodic Disbondment resulting in effective long term corrosion protection.• Once installed, K-60 delivers the structural integrity of a seamless tube and provides the substrate with durable protection against abrasion and chemical attack.

Saves Time & Money• Lower Pre-heat means less time heating and a faster installation• For added flexibility, the sleeve can be supplied as a bulk roll or pre-cut to the require pipe size.

GTS-65 Global Transmission Sleeve

The GTS-65 system provides superior corrosion protection and excellent bonding on pipelines operating up to 65°C. GTS-65 has been designed with a unique adhesive technology that remains “open” longer than traditional adhesives. Also, special surface active agents allow bonding to lower surface energy coatings (such as polypropylene). As a result, lower preheat temperatures are required to attain true adhesive wet-out and superior bonding to PE, PP and FBE surfaces is achieved.

High Shrink Sleeves 4 pipes

High Shrink SleevesSleeves for corrosion protection of high profile joints

Canusa High Shrink Sleeves are superior performance heat shrin-kable products designed for corrosion protection of fl anges, casings, bell and spigot joints and other high profi le couplings. High Shrink Sleeves consist of a crosslinked polyolefi n backing, coated with a protective heat sensitive adhesive which effectively bonds to steel substrates and common pipeline coatings inclu-ding polyethylene and fusion bonded epoxy.

Flexible & Reliable InstallationHigh Shrink products are available in three different configura-tions for flexibility of installation.• The patented Wrapid Sleeve™ (WS) incorporates a one-piece pre-attached closure strip that has been factory applied resul- ting in quick and reliable field installation.• The CanusaWrap™ (CW) configuration is supplied in a bulk roll, with separate closure seals, providing just-in-time custo- mized lengths. This flexibility results in reduced inventories and cost savings on the job site.• The CanusaTube™ (CT) consists of a unique tubular configu- ration that has been factory constructed, resulting in quick and reliable field installation.

Long Term Corrosion ProtectionOnce installed, the High Shrink Sleeve products have excellent structural integrity, and provide the substrate with durable pro-tection against mechanical and chemical attack. The high perfor-mance crosslinked backing provides superior abrasion resistance and can be engineered for regular or high stress environments. In combination with Canusa’s high performance adhesives, the High Shrink Sleeve provides excellent resistance to cathodic dis-bondment resulting in effective long term corrosion protection.

Wrapid Tape TM 4 pipes

Wrapid Tape TM

Primerless Crosslinked Protective Tape

Canusa Wrapid Tape™ consists of a crosslinked polyolefi n backing, coated with a protective, heat sensitive anti-corrosion adhesive which effectively bonds to steel substrates and com-mon pipeline coatings including polyethylene and fusion bonded epoxy. Upon the application of heat, Wrapid Tape™ shrinks down to fully encapsulate the protected substrate. The product is packaged in convenient rolls with various widths to protect and repair pipelines, fi ttings, bends, elbows and other irregular confi gurations.

Easy InstallationThe flexibility provided by the thinner tape dimension allows Wrapid Tape™ to effectively protect both conventional substra-tes such as circular pipe as well as irregular transitions such as elbows and risers. Upon the application of heat, the specially formulated adhesive flows into all surface irregularities, forming a protective barrier against corrosion.

Saves Time & MoneyWrapid Tape™ is quick and easy to install. Since no special priming or operator equipment is required, product installation is quick and labour costs are kept to a minimum. Unlike conven-tional cold-applied tapes, Wrapid Tape™ does not require the use of high volatile primers, further minimizing costs and risks to health and safety.

Long Term ProtectionWrapid Tape™ is manufactured using materials that provide high electrical resistivity, low water absorption and low moisture per-meability. The unique crosslinking process results in a protective backing that is much tougher than conventional tapes, more effectively resisting abrasion and damage, and thus extending the lifetime of the substrate. Wrapid Tape™ can also be double or triple wrapped for extra mechanical protection when required.
