Introductionhe need to design pipelines efficiently using both predictive and empirical tools lies at the base of most
Tengineering projects that will succeed with minimal redesigning and multiple reviews. In this workshop, participants will be presented with the parameters for pipeline systems design focusing on key materials -
steel, plastics and concrete; for typical industrial fluids - water, oil, gases, slurry and in applications such as public utilities, waste management, oil and gas transportation etc.
After the review of requisite theoretical principles, considerable time shall be given to design procedures using practical field data and standards for diverse applications. The use of software (PIPEFLOW EXPERT) for pipeflow calculations, drawings and for evaluation of network performance constitute a key learning goal.
